The irony of being an Optimum loyalty member at this store is that I’m treated with zero 'loyalty' in return. I’ve had security called to my vicinity during nearly every visit recently. It is deeply dehumanizing to hear those announcements and know they are directed at you. No matter how polite the cashiers are, the 'security-first' culture here makes for a toxic shopping environment. I am reconsidering where I spend my money.
Twice now that I come and do my groceries with my 3 year old daughter, i go to the bakery to get her a cookie and the woman has a big attitude problem. Zero enthusiasm and made me feel like i was wasting her time. Sucks because i’ve done this many times and never had any issues.

Please remind your cashier staff to confirm the produce codes. Had I not been paying attention, I would have paid double for the apples I had on the belt. Your staff member did void the incorrect code, but was not happy to do so, nor did she offer an apology for being incorrect. I can provide the name.nnMoney is tight for many, and I wonder how many have overpaid and not noticed.
Prices are really high. The new no name promo banners up are eerily similar to the ads in John Carpenter’s “They Live” movie. The produce always seems to be rotten with the whole section smelling putrid, if you shop on the “wrong day.” It isn’t kept stocked well. The fake security pages overhead and the excessive anti theft precautions make the average shopper feel like a criminal. There aren’t a lot of gluten free options. The staff is very nice though.
