Love love love these guys. Dr. Hill made my pregnancy such a good experience. He kept is super real & was always straight forward with me. His professionalism during labor was A1 & he definitely helped me keep my cool before I had the baby. Also shout-out to the girls in the office, love those ladies so much. If you can't get in with Dr. hill, I highly suggest Ms. Cynthia.
Went to him to check on this pregnancy. He wanted to do a Pap smear and I told the nurse I was more comfortable with a female OB and was scheduled to see one for my pap in late Oct. He refused to do my ultrasound and anything else for me after hearing that. My pregnancies have always been high risk so it was import for me to be seen asap. Still refused. Basically saying I'm not allowed to see any other OB if he is my doctor. Which is wrong. I am allowed to get a second opinion if I wanted to. My body my choice.
My very first experience there was ok. Dr Hill himself was really amazing. i had the lady at the front come in and tell me my pregnancy test was negative…. i’m 4 weeks pregnant. she almost made me cry and panic. and when dr. hill. came in 4 min later he said the test came back positive….. that’s not ok. the lady at the front desk should not be the one to tell me weather or not i’m pregnant.
Carol Holmes was more than Amazing. She is very gentle, thorough and experienced. Ladies I'm new to the town and the clinic she made me feel at ease with every process.
UPDATE 2/7/23: Despite the issues I had with the staff previously, Dr. Hill is the OBGYN that every woman dreams of to make her pregnancy a great experience. He has always been wonderful and treated me with respect and today I left feeling safe and cared for. After seeing what else is out there, I am so happy to have switched back. I didn't recognized the staff from last year when I had issues and can say it has improved 100%. Looking forward to seeing everyone there again. Waited over an hour and a half and never saw anyone - had to completely cancel the appointment and no desire to reschedule. Apparently it was someone's 3rd day and they had no idea how to run my insurance.
I absolutely love the staff but the scheduling is a total joke and waste of time. If you have an 11o'clock appointment don't expect to leave until around 1, maybe even later depending on why you're there. They expect us to hold our appointments but cant get you in because they are way over booked and they accept walk-ins. i've been with them for 7 years and am finally fed up. 2 hours for a shot and I watched 3 other people walk out because our time isn't valued. We have lives and other obligations don't set appointments if you can't honor the times your scheduling for. I understand delays can happen but when its every appointment there is a problem.
This review is not about doctor hill himself but instead his staff. Not only did they call me twice and text me twice the day before the appointment to confirm I would arrive to my 10:15 appointment but we arrived 15 minutes early and weren’t seen till 12:00. Saying they had ultrasounds scheduled before us. Obviously those didn’t appear out of thin air on the schedule. Clear your schedule before making an appointment on days he’s not in office and don’t except them to respect the fact that you made an appointment.
Dr. Cynthia was absolutely amazing. Very informative & kind brought my child in and literally felt like I was talking to my mom very warm and understanding as well as informational my child’s new OB/GYN.
My daughter seen Dr.Hill for first time .the staff and even Dr were very friendly explained everything that was going to happen since this is her first pregnancy would give six stars if I could and didn't even have wait that long to be seen .
There is a lot to say. This place has something special. Dr. Hill along with his ENTIRE staff and NPs are in their own way a unique and special experience. 1st in this city we have an issue with doctors having ego issues that if you see anyone else for second opinions you get let go as a patient. Not this doctor. I needed to get in to be seen early in my pregnancy for issues but my previous OB refused to see me prior to 10 weeks no matter what. It was scary for me and the wonderful ladies at the front were very kind and understanding. There was no pressure for me to switch docs. I chose to switch because where can I find this kindness in the city? I have not seen it except here. In addition to doctor Hill and His his office staff, I have had the pleasure to meet both nurse practitioners Carol and Cynthia. They both are wonderful and took my life, and my unborn child's life serious as if I was their own family. I love it here. Positive reviews is all I can see amounting here. Anything less than may have a different back story and should not be taken as what your experience will be. This office os genuine and I appreciate them all. I look forward to my appointments.
