Assiniboine Park Conservatory

Great warm tropical tourist attraction! Cool large plants. Interesting atmosphere!

It's not as fancy as conservatories elsewhere, but it's a great place in Winnipeg to shake off the winter blues, and breathe in some warm humidity.

Still beautiful in there, went back for a final visit, we are going to miss it. My daughter loves the fish pound, turtles and general atmosphere. A real shame this piece of history will be leveled :

So sad to see this place go. If you get a chance to visit..please do! Closing beginning of April. Its like summer in the middle of frigid February!! I miss it!

The Assiniboine park conservatory is closing to make way for a more modern building. While we have enjoyed visiting in the past, we look forward to what the park will bring in the future. We recommend visiting the Assiniboine park conservatory prior to the closure. It will give you an appreciation for the new design.

Love this place. So said that it's closing down to be torn down. Was an excellent date night or even just a nice relaxing walk. I will miss it very much.
