Initially, very happy, called on Monday and seen on Tuesday for a broken tooth. Appt made for Friday, tooth pulled without problems. Dr told me to take just Tylenol or ibuprofen for pain, I explained that I had been using that for the last week with no relief. Got rx for Tylenol #3. Took when I got home at 3:30 pm, threw up, ate, took another and threw up again. Called after hours number, no return call, 45 minutes later I called again, Dr had left a message that I should take Tylenol. It's now 6:30 pm on Friday evening. What am I supposed to do? In pain, bleeding again after vomiting, take Tylenol that hasn't worked for the last week.

I made an appointment for today about a month or two ago. I had called my insurance and they had told me that this location would be able to give me a cleaning. When I scheduled the appointment, I explained to them that I live an hour North, so that if it would be possible, I would love to be able to get the cleaning in too. I would be taking vacation hours to be able to get to the appointment, as I work a Monday to Friday job. I got a call at 10:30 am, 4 hours before the appointment from them explaining that this location actually wasn't in my plan and that i was going to have to make an appointment instead with the Manitowic or Oshkosh location. This would be 2 hours from my home, and also, I wouldn't be able to make this appointment for the same day. Because I was only given 4 hours of cancellation notice, I had already left my home to be on my way down there, and have used my vacation hours to be able to make this appointment. It is not easy for me to get time off, so now I will have to wait a long time to be able to make another appointment after already scheduling for this one, and schedule it for four hours away. To say the least, I am incredibly unhappy at how my time and money were wasted.

All the people working there were nice. doctor K was nice and working with all his people to get everyone helped . he took more time to look at me and what I wanted him to look at. Also the nice nurse had My dentures cleaned well waiting for the doctor.

My first visit was good, but when I went to schedule a cleaning I was told that I needed a cancer screening for $71.00 and a fluoride treatment for an additional $28.00. This was never mentioned by the Dentist or the hygienists. I told the appointment person that the Dentist did a cancer screening during my exam. She said this was not good enough, but did not tell me what a further exam would do for me. I did notice my dental insurance is not covering this screening. Will have to investigate further.

Stay away - I paid $3600 to have 1 implant put in. It was a baby tooth that I never lost, so there was no bone grafting that needed to be done - plenty of bone to work with already. I had the post put in back in August, and was told I'd receive a call in a few months to put in the implant as the post needed time to set. I paid everything up front through the "Care Credit" line that is offered (27% interest!!!) and paid my monthly payments. 2 billing cycles later I still didn't show a refund of the bone graft, so I called Aspen, and was told that all refunds had to go through Care Credit. So I did, and was told that all refunds have to go through Aspen. A few weeks later after several phone calls, I received the refund in the mail. Meanwhile, I sold the debt off to a credit union at 5% interest, and it was paid. Cut to November, still no phone call about the implant, and I get a bill in the mail from Aspen for "unspecified services" of $700. It is dated as due the next day. I called Aspen, told them that I needed to see what it was I was paying for. The receptionist told me that as it was after 4pm she'd have to call me before noon the next day. Never heard back. This repeats in December, no call back the next day. This repeats in January, no call back the next day. I just received a letter from Aspen that they've sent me to collections for $700. Can I leave 1/2 stars? 0 stars? Pay the few extra dollars and go to a local dentist, not a chain. Did I mention that I don't even have the tooth yet? Still just a post, waiting for any kind of follow up from them.
