Excellent and informative place to visit! The volunteers were more than willing to talk to us and answer questions. There's a ton of information and memorabilia from the area, as well as a little gift shop. It's definitely worth a few minutes of your time!

The folk in here were incredibly knowledgeable about Ashland & its history, and helpfully shared their books & time with us. As a result we were able to track down details on my great-great grandfather's harness shop. There are a lot of tchotchkes from decades past on display, including a wonderful collection of Lake Superior concretions.
