Artistic Gardens

We used Artistic Gardens to do a large backyard renovation pergola, hardscaping, landscaping etc. Overall the work got done. Would we recommend using them to friends? Likely not. We were pleased with the masonry work and ideas for the types of bushes to have planted. Where we were disappointed was on the communication during and after the project as well as the attitude. We were literally ignored for days/weeks trying to get issues fixed and had to eventually visit the store to get a response. We paid what we believe was a very healthy price, with the idea they would stand by all work. In the end, when a few of the trees died which were covered under warranty, they told us we would have to pay over a thousand dollars for the labour to put a few small replacement trees in. This seemed excessive and we had enough of the back and forth to fix something small. I ended up doing it myself took a couple hours, not the 10+ hours they intended to bill us for, but it is disappointing it came to it when one pays the price we did.

Artistic Gardens have an amazing catalogue of beautiful work that is on their web site and also in their portfolio which they were happy to show me in person. I had work done by them several times, at various times of the year involving seasonal decoration. What I appreciate most was the very helpful nature of the company owners Meredyth and Brad Hilton and their hardworking staff. Their work enhanced my enjoyment of my home. They are masters of their trade and skilled in every aspect of garden design and maintenance.

Like most people I had a limited understanding of what goes into a landscaping project before I had one done. The cycle of the plantings at different times of the year, the arrangement of the lighting, the drainage and inclines..on and on. Brad and Meredyth walked me patiently through it all and now I can appreciate how much goes in to the design of a property and I am so happy with our outdoor space. Artistic Gardens was a great experience and i would definitely recommend them!

Wow! Just read a negative review and thought this can't be the people I dealt with! Meredyth and Brad are amazing - quick, professional, beautiful designs and a treat to work with. Our home never looked better and I keep finding little things they looked after that have made upkeep easy. I think someone just had an axe to grind! You guys are nuts, Artistic Gardens is the best in the city, bar non.

Artistic Gardens have a portfolio of work that made me absolutely long for a wonderful garden with plants, plants, plants. Climbing plants, ferns, flowering shrubs and beds of flowers. I definitely recommend Artistic Gardens for their design inspiration, their hard work and customer service and most of all their wonderful plants and gardens!

I called to have them come by my home to give an estimate, once appointment was confirmed, no one showed up or called the day of. When I made a second attempt to make another appointment, no one returned my call or apologized for missing the first appointment. Not impressed with their services and I haven't seen their work yet.

Horrible experience. The product was poor. After a complaint was made, no attempt to fix anything was made. No phone calls were returned and no replacement product was delivered. The owner is a very rude woman. Neighbours have had similar experiences with this company and are still fighting to get what they paid for after months and months of waiting.

Worked for them for 2.5 years, on top of their clients, their employees are always kept happy, this is very transparent in the extra care they put into their work
