Good simple spot with nice Armenian foods. We got the salad and the Armenian burrito. Both high quality ingredients and tasty fare. Workers are also very nice and welcoming and try to offer help to those who have not experienced Armenian food before. There is also a small pantry in the store that sells Yan juice, which is tasty I recommend the pomegranate. Worth a try if you’re in the area!
First time trying Armenian food and I was blown away. The food here is so delicious, portion size is massive and the pricing is so reasonable. Love how friendly the staff is here and the speedy service, definitely recommend visiting here! To find more tasty eats, follow me and check out my page on Instagram @hungrysimo
I'm quite adventurous with my food choices but tbh I've never had Armenian food until now, so I had to order a bit of everything! The Khachapuri is basically a cheese pizza on steroids. So thick, so cheesey and so fulfilling. If you're a cheese lover, this is a MUST GET! And eat it while it's HOT!! One of these bad boys will feed 2 people already, so talk about value! The dough is also ridiculously soft, making the whole dish heavenly. We also got the Armenian BBQ, I love my platters! The meat was tender, juicy and lightly seasoned. The veggies were so nicely grilled as well. I find that this went very well with the Khachapuri, complimented each other! Then we also ordered the Slow cooked beef Cheeks. In the past, all the beef Cheeks I've had were extremely soft and tender, and this was no different. The mash and the beef brought the flavour out of each other. It was a lot of food for 2 people. 3 dishes and it fed us 2 meals. Armenian bistro has set the standards very high for Armenian cuisine, and I can't wait to be back to try more! The store also carries grocery items that you don't see at grocery stores, how fun!
This is a welcoming friendly local hidden gem in Etobicoke serving delicious Armenian food! This place is full of Armenian decor…so lovely! I am a meat lover and all the grilled meats, stewed beef cheek, and fried chicken breast were absolutely delightful! The kebab platter price is very reasonable! And the pizza and the sides especially the carrot side dish…must try! They also carries products from Armenian. I would highly recommend to call ahead and pick up.
I had a nice lunch, here. I share the same preference as the restaurant owner in the modern appearance of this restaurant. Comfortable atmosphere to have a meal. : Chicken shashlik meal and borsch soup. The grilled chicken had flavour from spices. Bay leaf in the soup with beets. Sour cream gives the soup an extra kick. My first time tasting borsch soup. I like it.
Authentic food with big portions. Excellent taste and a wide array of choices on the menu. I have been there many times, and the food has always been freshly cooked. Prices are reasonable and correspond to the size of the portions. This time I tried Chicken Kyiv Meal with Chinaxi soup - they make all this from scratch, with no processed food used in the dish, so it tastes fantastic. Also, highly recommend trying Armenian Burrito!
The authentic and nutritious food. The portions are big enough for the big and strong men. The waiting time is not too long. I ordered Chicken Kyiv and have been waiting for about 20 min. Unfortunately, there was no filling in the chicken Kyiv but still it was ok. All good was good and the staff was friendly.
Great fresh food and service. Tastes like homemade mom food. Staff is very friendly and it's extremely clean inside. My family loved here very much and it is a new favorite now.
Great meal. First time trying Armenian food and it was a pleasant experience. Highly recommend the lula party platter, the khachapuri and beef cheek. The carrot salad is also very delicious.
This dish was was quite flavourful, especially the meat, but too pricey at $20 for lunch. The vegetables were grilled really well. The marinara/tomato sauce was not that great - tasted like it was out of a can.
