Nice ambient, tasty nachos and a singing performance during our dinning! Singing classic Mexican songs where all the customers would sing together. I had a great enjoyable night here! One of a kind experience.
Absolutely adored this restaurant! We stumbled upon it while walking in Montreal. So glad we decided to try it. The food was delicious and the entertainment and music was AMAZING!
Absolutely delicious and authentic, I personally had the Birras platter which hit exactly the craving I was looking for. Service was very kind and helpful even when understaffed. Definitely recommend if you're looking to scratch your mexican food itch while roaming St-Denis
Never ate food so sad-looking and not worth its money , only took a picture of the tacos, but they were no toppings, only the bare minimum. One taco is 6.50$… I got quesadilla and again, there were only meat, cheese and the tortilla in itself. My partner asked for some salsa to go w his taco so they charged him 75 cents for sour cream. Aren’t tacos supposed to come w some salsa at the very least. The food was miserable, the service was very minimal, a very disappointing experience.
Not completely in love with the food. The beef taco was not too bad, but the ceviche was a little on the wet side and the fajita lacked topping.
The worst food and service ever! I ordered fajitas steak, burger, and drinks! Fajitas comes ONLY with wraps, NO SAUCE AT ALL. I had to pay around 8$ for extra sauces! The breads of burger was too hard to eat. The worst thing is about the drinks! It only came when we asked the waitress after waiting for a long time! Finally, the tips options in the machine is 18-30% for the bad services!
I was honestly very much disappointed when I visited this restaurant for the first time as I've wanted to visit it for some time. We ordered food with drinks and waited so long for them. We decided to cancel the drinks because even the entrée came first. One of the drinks wasn't even available and we weren't told about it and kept waiting. We weren't even given utensils and napkins until we asked for them. When we finally received the main meal, not even sauces were given to us until it was asked if we wanted some after starting to eat. The bifteck quesadilla doesn't even taste like steak as the cheese overpowers the taste of the steak and is plain despite adding sauces and lime juice. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Jan 3, 2023. 10PM. Ordered 2 soups 10$ each which tasted like 2 days old evaporated leftover way too salty beef broth. Had to dilute with lots of water to make this edible. Broth had nothing in it but chopped green onion and cilantro leaves. What kind of Mexicana sopa is that? Please put some amor in your soup if your serve some! I was lured by an overrated attractive website and should have taken a minute to check Google reviews. The soup sucked and if your soup is not good, do not expect much from your tacos. Simply overpriced and it doesn’t taste anything near the freshness of good traditional tacos. Bill was 80$ including tips for what should have cost 40$ for 2. We got 2 soups and 6 tacos for 68.42$ including tax. No drinks! Go few blocks away to Sabor Latino on St-Laurent. There you will find a underrated cantina with a pretty ugly setting but the best Mexican tacos I had in Montreal for street money! Buena suerte!
So glad we ended up here. The tacos were really great, full of flavor, especially the Arrachera. The horchata was in the top two I’ve had. I was surprised to have such good Mexican in Canada, we don’t have any Mexican in Maine that is that authentic. So I was glad to have some as good as what I could find in Florida. Note, the hottest sauce wasn’t that hot, but they have hotter if you want it. Glad the Ramen places had long lines so we could try here tonight!
The service is good, but the food is average. I ordered the birria tacos and bifteck quesadillas. They both tasted good but were a but greasy hence my rating.
