Story

The History of Aris Place:

Three brothers took a long journey from Greece to live a different and better life here in Canada. After a few hardworking years they managed to get together and started their own restaurant venture.

Today's Aris Place originated, as most people know, as Teddy's Burgers - a place to catch up with friends and relax while enjoying a great meal. Teddy's gained popularity with the people of Roncesvalles as it was just a cozy spot with a jukebox on each table and a friendly atmosphere. After only three years the place underwent an expansion and renovations; its appearance was changed dramatically. Along with the interior changes came changes in the menu, and Aris Place was opened in 1975.

Over 30 years later, after the retirement of two brothers, John, with the help of his family and great staff continues to serve the Community and keeps the memories that have grown with the establishment.

Aris Place features an open concept kitchen and a vast variety of meals on the menu. Aris Place is known to the Community for serving a Great Breakfast, along with delicious Lunches and Dinners; all at reasonable prices. The tradition of delivering a friendly atmosphere and home-style cooking to the people of Roncesvalles is continued.
