I found the store underwhelming, they didn't have a lot of variety. Also the change rooms were awful. The hooks were broken or gone. I had to put my clothes right on the floor. Also one of the close hangers was broken so it wouldnt even hold the shirt properly.
They price their clothing as though they're a good quality store, instead of the cheap, "fast fashion" store that they are. Staff doesn't greet you or thank you or say bye. Sizes disorganized. Overall no point whatsoever to shop here.
I have shopped at several Ardene locations and I received the best customer service at this one by far. Adrianna and Eleni were particularly friendly and went out of their way to help me - it was also the tidiest location by far! I will definitely frequent this location more often now with my daughter - even though it it is a longer drive it's worth it!
I went shopping at this location first time. From the moment I walked in staff approached if I needed any help. She pointed me in the right direction for what I was looking for and also offered help. Ended up buying six pair of shoes as the prices were unbelievable, sandals and shoes. I also love sunglasses and bought four pairs. I liked also the price on this as I loose them all the time therefore don’t like to spend too much. My total bill was about $75.00 Isn’t that incredible? Excellent service as well.
We enjoyed our stay. Took advantage of the pool and hot tub. It was the fantastic continental breakfast that offered just about everything that we will come back for.
the workers tend to be stuck up and arent enthusiastic, despite the small cooped up location and 5 workers circulating i had to wait a long time to be assisted to a changing room and when i got in the changing room there was ONE hook for me to place my items so i was putting my clothing on the disgusting floor. the rooms arent private and after realizing something i refuse to shop there ever again. something i realized is that the security camera located in the middle of the store is able to see into the changing booths and view those who are changing. the selections for clothing arent trendy or very appealing to me so i felt like i wasted a hour of my time and its so dark in there i could barely see!!!
PROS: This store is usually well stocked with a lot of footwear, casual dressy clothes, swim wear and accessories. Prices are also usually really decent too. They don't keep a regular assortment of sportswear here though. CONS: They have too many racks that are too close to the back wall where all the shoes are. There is not enough space to pass by someone, it's easy to accidentally knock a pair of shoes off the wall, or get your jacket caught on a hook and it often feels like the staff neglect regular cleaning in that section. That's the only complaint I have.
The girls at this location are annoying and rude. I was shopping and heard them talking bad about customers not wanting to leave the store and also yapping repeatedly about customer's making mess in the store.. I was with the cashier but had to go grab a belt quickly to add to my checkout. I went and bring back the belt in less than a minute only to be told I have to go wait back in line with 6 customer's ahead in line even though I was ahead of all those people. I Another customer did the same thing by grabbing something else to add to her shopping items but wasn't given the same treatmental as me. She was allowed to go grab her item and come straight to cashier without having to back to the line. She wasn't told to wait in line like they did to me.. I felt cheated, embarrassed and picked on and ashamed by their behavior towards me and how they treat and talk to customer's. I will never go back to that location.
I have been an Ardene regular in Ontario and this was my first visit to the South Common branch. Very disappointed with the cooped up store and the lack of selection. Online collections are way better. The staff is great, very prompt and polite. I wasn’t too comfortable with the trial rooms. Would have been nice to have a roof over them.
Just a suggestion wait till your customer leaves the store before you start talking about them. Your job is to help customers not bad mouth them. Not impressed
