Ardene

Place is still open. Lots of selections. The staffs are very nice and was able to try on clothes in the fitting room. But I didn't see the staffs sanitizing the fitting room after I finished trying on the clothes. Maybe they cleaned it after I left, so not sure. Either than that, my experience was very pleasent.

What a terrible shopping experience. I have been shopping at Ardene for years but I am definitely not going to support the Ardene at CF Richmond Centre because I do not support their store manager's character. When I asked her if I could get a fitting room, she ended up helping another customer and then totally forgot about my request that I had to walk back up to the front counter to remind her the fitting room doors were locked, otherwise I would've gone in myself. Then when it was time to purchase my item, she ended up skipping me and went on to help the customer after me when I told her I would 'be right back' to get another item when she informed me of a promotion that was related to the item I was purchasing I was literally gone for 5 seconds. When I came back, she had already scan an item from the customer behind me so I shrugged it off an patiently waited until that customer had paid. Then, I was expecting that she would be continuing with my items but to my surprise, she completely ignored me and moved onto another customer. I interjected and kindly told her I was ready to pay for my items she still had one on the counter and I had the other one in hand. But I was utterly shocked when looked at me in an unpleasant manner and said 'I'll actually help them first'. I was so shocked and did not expect that that I literally had not words to say. I was really disappointed in this shopping experience that I ended up notifying Ardene head office to complain & they suggested I exchange my items and get a gift card so I can use the gift card at another Ardene location where I could have better customer service. I would've demanded for a refund but I respect their no refund policy, especially since it is not a new policy. But I was happy that Ardene head office was apologetic for the situation and provided me with a solution. I know this manager has been around for awhile but she is clearly unfit for a role as a store manager. She is not professional, she is rude, and she is not able to problem solve in a respectful manner. I'm sad to say that because of her, I will know longer shop at this Ardene location.

So I decided to but something at Ardene for my friend but the size was wrong. I tried to refund it but they were like "oh you can't refund. Too bad" But I protested you didn't tell me when I bought it. She just ignored me so I just got our of he store. I ignored her and I will never ever go to Ardene.

Manager was very pushy and had a very rude demeanor. Made me question why I was even shopping there . She yelled at me wondering where the t shirt I was trying on is , I told her I was buying it so I'm holding it!!

Trendy and diverse selection of women clothings and shoes. If you prefer style over superb quality at a cheap price, Ardene is for you.

Can't wait for those 5 for $5 deals to come back again
