Doing vegan right! This was our first trip to Archway and it won’t be the last. As a vegetarian it was amazing to be able to eat everything on the menu. Enjoying our meal with carnivores they didn’t miss meat from their meal. The service is as friendly, helpful and the food was delicious. I will be back.
I cannot even process how delicious this meal was. I decided to book a table at this restaurant as they had a great amount of options for gluten free, and I was not disappointed. The tofu fries are well coated, crunchy & the flavour is pretty good! I couldnt decide between the peach & dream or the baklava pancakes so we got both both were so flavourful and filling. The cocktails are also great! We loved the gatsby, and also tried a bartender special which was amazing. The server was amazing, she also was our bartender so she knew the menu well. I Definitely would go back.
Creative vegan dishes and drinks. Terrible service. We waited 30 minutes just for the waitress to come take our drink order. Food came pretty quickly after that, but I found it strange they served the drinks at the same time. Not a huge deal though. Food was good but portions and flavour per price just isn’t quite there. I really enjoyed the ceviche most, it had really good flavour and fun ingredients, and I would say that it was worth it. The baos were good but small serving for the price and tasted strong of just plain tempeh. The mushroom dish’s best part was the sauce for the rice. The baklava dessert was amazing though and I would return just for that. Again for the price the portion could be a bit more. It took 45 minutes to get our dishes cleared and order dessert though, and it was only finally because a different waiter noticed us trying to swat away the wasps that were gathering around our empty drink glasses! Overall, service is terrible and prices don’t quite reflect the overall experience. I would maybe go back to try their brunch menu and more drinks in the future.
We’ve traveled all over and eaten at a bunch of vegan restaurants and this is hands down one of the best we’ve ever eaten. It’s definitely the top vegan restaurant in Montreal and honestly one of the best in the world. We got the baklava pancakes and the benedict, which were both phenomenal. We also got a smoothie and the artichoke appetizer, which had an incredibly flavorful and unique sauce. Every menu item here is so unique and they nailed the execution every single time. We’ll probably come back to Montreal just to eat here!
Excellent food. Full of flavor and service was amazing too. I love how the food has taste. Coming back for sure. Started with the Arancini and the Mushroom dish in the picture forgot the name but it was delicious! Will be back to try it all.Food: 5/5
Lots of options with a very interesting brunch menu. We had the burrito, breakfast sandwich and edamame bowl. Everything was delicious. Portions were a bit small for the breakfast sandwich and the bowl but the burrito was much more consistent and generous. Overall enjoyed our meal and service was friendly. Prices are a bit steep but not unusual for a brunch. They also offer smoothies, coffees and a few baked goods. They don’t take reservations for brunch, it’s first come first served.
I've never had a fully vegan meal and this was a great introduction. My father is a huge carnivore and was skeptical, but really enjoyed the food. I would recommend this place to anyone!!
A dinner at Verdun's classy vegan restaurant Archway. Great atmosphere, stylish decor, friendly service and a wide variety of delicious, beautifully presented dishes. Starters • Beet Muttabal Muttabal de betterave: Beetroot, pomegranate, feta Violife, fresh herbs, pita. • Artichoke Artichaut: Grilled artichoke, cashew labneh, apricot jam, grilled pistachio, za'atar, honey, lemon. • Tao carrot: Nantes carrot, Tao sauce, cashew cream and peanut, cilantro, green onion. Mains • Ghandi Burger: Falafel Yoni patty, cashew tzatziki, tomato, lettuce, beets and pomegranate aioli, caramelized onion, cucumber, sweet potato fries. • Gnocchi: Creamy vegan parmesan and sage sauce, arugula, dried tomato, kalamata olives, hazelnut, sechuan pepper. • Japanese Salad Salade Japonaise: Kale, heart of romaine, quinoa, smoked tofu, red cabbage, red pepper, cucumber, carrot, edamame, broccoli, green onion, cilantro, avocado, Asian vinaigrette. • Thai Maitake Maitake Thai: Maitake steak, grilled fresh pineapple, rice, chilli, miso-chili caramel, coriander, peanuts, fresh herbs. Truly among the best restaurants you’ll find in Montreal, would highly recommend the tartare maitake & kale césar. The dishes were absolutely delicious, original, and creatively curated like the house made jackfruit & tofu nugget on the kale césar. Not to mention the great portions and excellent service. A must try!
Ordered a few things from here. I've also been to the actual location before. It's nice. The noodles were good, just not sure about the portions for the price. The smoothie bowls was literally horrible. The granola may have been pure sugar is it? I really don't know and the care that goes into the quality of the food is displayed by how large these banana chunks are. Update: nope, didn't complain about the texture of the bowl at all. Only mentioned the cheap granola and the large chunks of bananas which obviously I'm referring to the bananas used as decoration cause leaving a chunk that large makes no sense. My review has nothing to do with the delivery time or temperature caused by the delays of ordering online. Using water instead of oat milk doesn't change the consistency THAT much, unless you're making your smootbie bowls with a ton of liquid - which seems to be your mistake here. Don't try to put the blame on the driver or on me requesting water instead of your store bought oat milk. It wouldn't change it that much. Pretty annoyed that you try to make me look incompetent when you're the restaurant owner that can't make a proper smoothie bowl.
