If it was possible to give less than one star, it would be given. Yes, this school is great academic wise, but if you are even the SLIGHTEST bit different from society’s version of normal, you will get eaten alive. The kids at this school have no self respect for the teachers nor themselves let alone other students, will frequently start fights just because, and the rumours there are endless. In the past 2 months a countless number of students have left AP, due to bullying, rumours, hate and even the fact that you barely get help if there are any problems from any of the teachers because at some point they will just say they can’t help, and let you fend for yourself. I do not recommend this school.

This school is average at best. The grading system is slightly wonky and most teachers leave after a year anyway. It's honestly hard to get comfortable at a school where the teachers and the principle change every year. This being my last year, I'm honestly not surprised they changed the end date of the school year and made us start school earlier. The students seem to only use this school as a stepping stone onto another school and most classes cripple your gpa anyway. AP classes seem more like extra work than anything else. During classes all you do is memorize, take the test and lose the knowledge because you have too much to learn. Not to mention that if you don't constantly have your shirt tucked in you get a referral or if you're wearing the wrong type of something you have to disrupt your education and go to the office because of it. I'm surprised we still had a graduating class these past few years with the requirements to graduate. Most students have to stay up to just barely finish their five hours of homework. Overall, Arbor Prep is decent but could be better.

Arbor prep has a great basketball team and good numbers in the charts but the things that go on in the school or are known to the public such as people getting bullied and teachers profiling the kids either as white or black many of the teachers are awful at teaching (Mr chesney, and Mrs. Hughes are fantastic teachers) and can't give the kids that are learning a visual concept of what they are doing in class the school also gives out unfair consequences for example, A kid I knew was getting bullied for weeks on average then when the bully went to his house and fought him The school gave the kid who is getting bullied a 45 day suspension, Now you would think 45 days is bad but if you seen what was happening on the inside of the school this wouldn't seem extreme at all, highschool teens pictures getting leaked, and they would get bullied weeks on average. Then later on you would hear about them being in the hospital and receiving medical attention for them hurting themselves and yet the school has done nothing to even track the students down nor help the hurting kid. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR KID TO THIS SCHOOL OR THEY WOULD HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THE SAME THING! Countless other things happen in the school that the principal and board of directors fail to comprehend and acknowledge. If you send your kid to this school not only will they fail in social goals but droop academically, Standard Based Grading is terrible and yet they continue to use it on a everyday basis, Arbor Prep uses their power in terrible ways like masking the things that go on to the school. Like when there was a dozen police at the school in May it was because one of the former students who got expelled made a gun threat on a social media app called snapchat saying he was going to shoot one of the core directors at Arbor Prep, the principal tried to mask this instance by telling the parents and students through email saying that no one was in any "direct" danger when they really were because he was planning to come back to the school after lincons classes ended around 2:30 Arbor prep needs to be monitored closely by a group of non administrators to keep the public informed on what really goes on in the school! Please share this post and I hope you can consider your child's well being through this post.

Wonderful school!!👍🏻 I also love love love Big Macs but I'm not trying to get fat so I don't eat too much When I'm board I watch Netflix or hand with a few of my friends But hey people do different things

The school is an average school great education. It's smooth with the teachers and staff the only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is cause teachers sometimes the teachers comments are complaining about the kids and the work ethic. I get that they are trying to encourage us to strive but they can do it without the smart remarks. It was funny for awhile but it got old. But, all in all its a great school to get you into college. The learning environment is great expect the smart remarks. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants the ability to go to college because of the standards they set for children here.
