I was very excited to go to the restaurant after another shut down. They only opened 2 weeks ago and we were their first customers! Service was great, big portion and food tasted fresh! I also liked that they had extra tzatziki on the side. Can’t wait to go back! :
Even though the meat is a bit dry, it still paired very well with the rice and the potatoes, which were fairly soft in texture. The meal is about 20$ and it is fairly balanced since it includes a salad of your choice, a meat and a side of rice or potatoes. The portion of meat is very generous, although I wish the portion of rice/potatoes would be a bit bigger to have a better ratio of meat to carbs. The flavours in general are decent, mostly reliant on the sauce but even without it, the food still tastes decent. Their Baklava on the other hand had a great flaky texture, but it was way too sweet for me.
Was feeling some greek food and decided to give this place a try as I've noticed Marathon quality has dropped slightly, but even with that in mind I would of been better off going there. The portions are tiny for the price,I actually laughed when I saw the grilled shrimp, 7 tiny piecesas pictured for 21$..., now I wouldn't of mind if the taste would compensate but it lacks severely, really basic spices and meats were overcookedsome charred and dry. I gave it 2 starts because the place is really nice sadly at the expense of the food and the gent at the counter was polite and professional.
Best Greek food in the West Island. Great ambiance and amazing staff. Food is extremely fresh. Ordered the family special and calamari, everything was perfect. Will be ordering again, can’t wait for the dining room to open.
First time experience at this Arahova location. Impeccably clean, some of the friendliest staff I've ever had dining in a restaurant. They were attentive, energetic and full of positivity. 5/5 for service. Food was delicious. Fresh ingredients, perfect temperature. The garnish on the fries was a little too salty, but other than that, food was super tasty.
brand new place, the gyro is probably the best ive had in a while. absolutely delicious and fresh will definitely come back. also the restaurant is very nicely decorated.
My husband recently gave you guys a great review on your steak dinner. We took it out just the other night again and it was not good. I believe it was a different chef. We ordered it medium rare and it was way over done and dried out. Everything was packed together. The steak was not spiced like the previous time. The best was when the steak was packed by itself with all the juices, and spiced properly. The Greek salad it came with and potatoes were very plentiful and tasty. Please fix the steak problem. Would like to try it again and give it another chance. It is a good special of two steak dinners for $44.00. However if it comes out like I described I would not want it no matter how much it costs.
Tried their steak special last week and after the first bite had to call the restaurant and thank the chef for cooking my meal just perfectly. Steak was tender and juicy with a great appearance medium rare as requested. Both fries and Greek potatoes in good quantity and done right . Greek salad always good here . Greatly enjoyed my meal . Looking forward to having it again .Kudos to the staff for the good food and service , everything packed just right .
Horrible experience tonight. Floor was dirty which should have been our first sign to leave. Calamari were freezer burnt and cold. The waitress told us she was going to look for plates because the dishwasher hand not come in yet. Our food came and the potatoes where drowning in oil, the salade was wilted and soggy and the chicken pita tasted funny. Everything was cold. At that point we told the waitress which was not her fault and decided to leave. I informed her that the cook should take some pride in the food he serves and the owner should be made aware of this. Very disappointed especially after reading the reviews.
Ordered for a group of 13 people. Waitress was very nice. Unfortunately a lot of our order were missing tzatziki. Also got back to the office to find a meal missing. We had to drive back to get it. The gyro pork was all fat and terrible. Prices were high for what it was. The Greek potatoes were just okay. Not like the old location in Pointe-Claire. Majority of the staff at our company were disappointed. Parking: Parking was packed but they did have 2 reserved spots for 10 mins for them which helped.
