Great place with unique dominican flavors! Ordered the stew, and was very filling. So hardy on a sunny day, and goes well with a light beer like Corona
Best Dominican food in town. As a former employee, I can attest to the kitchen being extremely clean and so much care and detail goes into each meal. Fresh food cooked daily, alcohol served and nightlife on weekends, occasional Karaoke - inquire with owner. The only place in Toronto you can get an authentic Mofongo.
Ordered fajitas and they were terrible! They use taco corn tortillas and only one topping, the chicken!! This is not authentic at all and I paid $25 for that meal! Add 5 dollars to that and dine at the Keg. I think they should stick to Dominican food as that is what they specialize in.
Love this spot. Food is absolutely amazing. Very friendly staff. Music and atmosphere is so upbeat. If you want to feel like you are in the Caribbean. This is the place to be. Spanish people are so warm. This will be my new hangout 100%
1 star doesnt cut it… i was DISAPPOINTED with the food i ordered via skip the dishes; MAR & TIERRA,POLLO AL CIBAO & EMPANADAS .. the rice of both dishes were hard and it felt like i got scraps, the meat was way too salty and the empanada was also salty Overall…. Never again nor would i recommend to my friends!! Word of advise, please change how to cater to the public because this is 100% not it!
Food was good, but place looks more like a bar that serves food.
Went for dinner and drinks last night. Staff were very friendly and accommodating...we were uncertain with the dishes, and the server and the girl behind the bar both took the time to explain the different dishes. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We will definitely go back.
Very nice bro. If you want to be treated like a king, this is the place to be. People are all very family like to each other. The bomb bra. Not to mention the woman are all the bomb dude.. john, d
Just ordered from Skip the Dishes, 2 dishes, Ceviche and Salpicon de Marisco. Ceviche was very disappointing, proteins poorly and randomly cut with very large pieces. The leche de tigre was just salty lime juice, overall this can't even be called ceviche. The Salpicon was WAY too salty, I even got bits of whole salty seasoning on the clams. The fish was over cooked, and the whole dish was very poorly prepared. The best thing of the whole order were the fried plantains. Definitely not worth the money, this was not a cheap dinner.
Excellent place good music, but people was too boring no one dance
