Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

We hesitated going here because we have had nothing but bad experiences with a different location (Portage Ave). We were greeted quickly. The staff was very friendly, waitress was fantastic. Food came out in good time and was delicious! Well done!! This will be our new Applebee's location 😁

Edit: After this review I got a call from a woman at this Applebees (possibly the owner, but I'm not sure if she said). She was very nice and apologized. She also got my address and promised a gift card was on the way. I really appreciate that she took the time to reach out to me personally. While I can't bring myself to give full stars after the service I received, I certainly appreciate the gesture and am raising my review from 1 star to 3. I went with friends from work. I ordered three apps (soup, a salad, and mozzarella sticks). I ordered the apps immediately when I arrived. It took them an HOUR AND 15 MINUTES to get them to me. Sometime around the 45 minute mark waiter came out and asked me if I was ordering anything. I told him I already had. He came out a few minutes later giving me some lame excuse. I cancelled the order shortly after that but they brought the food out anyway. I refused it. I don't mind mistakes, they happen. But I was really upset the waiter didn't just apologize for not putting my order in. Other people at my table got their orders, then their second orders, and I hadn't even gotten my apps yet. After everything that happened I never even got so much as an apology. They never even talked to me to ask why I canceled my order. Just all-round poor service. Other people at my table also got poor service, although not as bad as waiting over an hour for apps. I just really wish the waiter would have apologized instead of making excuses. I can understand mistakes, but lying to customers is just about the worst thing you can do, hence the one star.

Our waitress was fantastic we enjoyed our dinner had some new dishes that was for sure and my wife was a pig about her food she had more food than anybody did with their all you can eat ribs and chicken holy cow I didn't know she was going to stop or not she loves her chicken and her ribs she made it ate enough for 6 people. But we still love her even though she went home about the size of a 300 pound woman she's my sweetie will always be my sweetie the waitress was phenomenal she brought the food one right after another for my wife it was great it had been an extra stressful time for my wife because doc Pierces is her restaurant she had some issues with the plumbing which I had to take care of so this was a moment of rest and relaxation for her to take care of an insatiable appetite of some good food. But our waitress was fantastic and was very thorough checking in every so often it was great was a good time with the family my peanut my sweetie and Chris

We have just had an amazing dinner!! Jessica H was our waitress and she was perfect. She was on top of everything! We never had to flag her down to ask for anything and she was interactive with our kids!! The food was great! (the music was perfect volume).

My family went to Applebee's on a Sunday morning we wanted to switch sections because it was so cold on one side of the restaurant. Once we switched our server Rickyea greeted us and assured me she would speak to her manager about the heat. We ordered our drinks and she came back within 1 minute of us ordering 6 drinks. We placed our food orders and she checked on us periodically through the wait of our food but not to the point where it was annoying. The restaurant was a little busy so I expected a wait we ordered well done steaks and chick entree's but the food came out quickly and refreshing as we waited all day to eat. Our cups never went empty it's a wonder how she had that many tables and still managed not to lose her cool we loved her as a server and we will be back Thanks for the amazing experience
