Applebee’s Grill + Bar

We used to love going to Applebee's! We would go probably 3x a month. Now, because the portion sizes have lessened dramatically AND the prices have gone up 'about' $5 per the meals we usually get, we will go here maybe twice in 3 months. I understand inflation. So fine.. raise the price per meal some. But you don't raise the prices AND take away the amount of food. And anyone from Applebee's who wants to beg to differ? Don't bother. Your patrons aren't stupid. It's a nice place to go to from time to time when you want an alcoholic drink with your meal. But we would much rather go to Golden Corral where the food is just as good, if not better, & the price per meal is WAY lower for what you get.. because for 15.99 you get everything you want, AND that includes appetizers & dessert. ;)

I honestly want to like Applebees, but I've had more poor experiences than good experiences, especially with food. I rate service out of 2 stars and quality of food/drink out of 3 stars. The services I would give 1.75 cause most of the time, the waiters/waitresses are great most of the time. The food is what is getting disappointing for the price. The ribs were dry and very little meat for the cost of the meal. The chicken tenders platter was 7 chicken nugget size pieces, a sauce cup of coleslaw, and handful of fries for almost twice the price I pay at other restaurants with larger servings. The appetizers are not what you would expect either. The drinks can be deceiving as well, either too weak or too strong. Service 1.75/2 Food 1.25/3

I have never had a bad meal here. The staff is super friendly. I order pick up twice a month and love the fries. The frozen strawberry lemonade is delicious and so is the honey mustard sauce they make.

Decent place for lunch. The daily specials are reasonable $9, includes the drink. The Oriental crispy chicken salad was fresh and tasty. A little on the small size. But good and quick.

Our family chose to eat here for Christmas Eve this year and I'd have to say it was a pleasure to actually go out for a change instead of hosting the entire Christmas Eve and Christmas day all by myself!!! Our waitress was AMAZING, I can't remember her name exactly.... I think it was Stephanie, matter of fact I'm pretty sure that's it! She was amazing! Made for a nice dining experience!!
