Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Place was mildly busy ( about a third full) when we came in ( 2 people). Hostess never said "Hi" or even asked how many in our party, just grabbed menus and started walking away. We stopped her and asked for a hightop table and I'm glad we did because we got Emily as our server. Not only was this girl waiting on a full section of tables but was filling in as the bartender too! She was fast, friendly and efficient, took our orders which included an extra meal to go as well as an add-on app, she made sure we understood that the app would be charged extra just so there was no misunderstanding. Apps came out quickly, drink refills were prompt, meals were excellent. I hope management knows what a jewel they have in this waitress, even as busy as she was working two jobs she managed to turn around what started off as a bad experience and made our night out a pleasant one.

The food is always on point, but the majority of the staff is rushed and lacking a personal touch. It is a busier location so the staff is constantly busy, but it can mean a lack of service. Excellent atmosphere and good pricing!
