Applebee's Grill + Bar

My wife and I decided to stop here for dinner tonight. Our experience was far from a good one. Our server Hazel was wonderful though; friendly and attentive. The place was busy and she was the only server on the floor. Props to Hazel. Unfortunately, the good stopped with our server. We were informed after being seated that the kitchen had all new cooks who hadn’t had the proper training and didn’t quite know the menu yet so it was slow going getting food out of the kitchen. Okay. We ordered the classic combo. Took an hour to get our appetizer and everything was cold. Took another half hour to get our entrees. I ordered the Bourbon Street Mushroom and Swiss burger. It was cold when it arrived. It was one of the worst burger that I have ever had. There were no mushrooms on my burger, which are the selling point of a Mushroom Swiss, and the burger was loaded down with the most disgusting and extremely over salted sautéed onions I have ever been served. They did bring out more mushrooms for me but those were also very over salted. The garlic Mayo served on the burger was foul. I was nauseous after one bite. I did not eat the rest. My wife had the chicken fajita rollup. She said it was decent. I did not try it. My appetite was zapped after one bite of my burger. The manager did offer me another burger to go. I appreciated that. I went with a regular cheese burger and fries. Nothing special and pretty hard to mess up. I hope. I haven’t eaten it yet. Again, props to our server Hazel. She really was wonderful. We won’t ever be back.

The wait to get seated was atrocious due to staffing shortages. My husband, daughter, two friends and I waited nearly 45 minutes. We had a baby with us as well so it was a little frustrating to be crammed on their lobby bench while there were tables open. It would have been so much nice, and we would not have minded, to have gotten seated and just waited for a server. When we were seated, the waitress was really nice and brought our drinks quickly. The food was delicious, especially the Mac and cheese with tenders. It was our friends birthdays and the waitress brought them each a dessert shooter. I hope they get more staff soon because minus that it was a great evening out.

Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was great. Hard to find places that have a vegan/allergy friendly meal, without having to completely change the item. I believe I got that southwest chicken bowl- dairy, egg and soy free, it was wonderful. The manager came over to ask how everything was and they were so nice about us staying and chatting for a few hours.

Extremely disappointed with quality, portion sizes, and customer service. Ordered chicken oriental salads for my husband and I with three soups for my twin daughters who had oral surgery day prior. Soup was cold and only filled half of container. Asked for extra dressing for salads- did not receive. Called restaurant to notify and was informed recent menu revamp with smaller portion sizes. Literally less than 3oz of soup measured as had to blend. Unable to provide credit or gift card but would put me on record for “small discount next visit”. Sad to say our go to will no longer be Applebee’s.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant where I experienced exceptional service, encountered friendly and attentive staff, and enjoyed some delicious food. From the moment I walked in, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable, greeting me with warm smiles. Throughout my meal, my server was attentive without being intrusive, making recommendations on dishes and offering thoughtful suggestions on wine pairings. The general manager stopped over and made sure everything was going well, she was extremely nice and genuine. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience, and I can't wait to return and enjoy the excellent service, people, and food once again. This place has completely turned around in 2023, I’m so happy this can be our spot to go again!!

Ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. They missed the ranch. Told my waitress and she sent over a manager. The manager came over and told me sorry there’s nothing she can do, sometimes they just miss putting the ranch on. She didn’t even offer me a side cup of ranch and walked away. Then I told me waitress and she did not offer me a cup of ranch either.

We had a great experience here. We sat at the bar and had a few specialty drinks and an appetizer platter. They were short staffed but everyone was working their hardest to keep up! They did a great job!Food: 5/5

The service was good.. the atmosphere was chilly & we each had French Onion Soup that was only half full & our boneless chicken wings were cold.. we had the waitress reheat them & still not overly warm. Use to be our favorite place to dine at. It's definitely not what it use to be..Food: 2/5

We ordered , took quite awhile. They gave me the wrong food. Wasn't very happy. I ate it cuz it would of take more time then we wanted. Service very very poor. Had to keep asking for more coffee.Food: 1/5

Went for the first time in a few years, we were surprised they still had the 2 for $25! We had the best server! Her name is Jillian, great service and fun! Would have given 5 stars but the broccoli with my steak and potatoes was pretty salty. Also had the Asian chicken salad, that was really good!
