Several days after our event and people are still commenting to me about how amazing the food was! David at Applause was a complete pleasure to deal with and he hand picked a menu that fit with our theme and our crowd. The food was in abundance and there was so much flavour. Even the kids were raving about it! The chicken shawarma was probably the biggest hit, but I have to say the onion rings and fried pickles were to die for. I would highly recommend Applause Kosher Catering for any event
The one compliment we hear over and over again from everyone who was at the wedding, was how amazing the food was. The quantity and quality left nothing to be desired and it seems that everyone had a different favourite dish. You've brought the standard for Kosher catering in the city to new heights. Everyone was so accommodating to all of our guests needs, and the whole night went smoothly due to your stellar organization. From the start of our engagement, we knew we wanted to hire Applause, and we're so grateful that we did.
Applause catered our wedding and from the minute we minute David Silber, to the actual day of the event, everything about this catering company was exceptional. We had wanted a different menu and we were not dissapointed in anything, from the quality and quantity of food, to the serving staff, attention to detail and any requests for special meals. We received many compliments after the wedding about the catering and were constantly asked if this was indeed kosher food. Thank you to all at Applause for making our wedding such an amazing celebration.
We had my son's bar mitzvah this past weekend and Applause catering provided the buffet luncheon. The staff was very professional and extremely pleasant, the presentation was beautiful and most importantly the food was delicious. I was thoroughly impressed and delighted, both with the menu suggestion theirs and execution. Many guests commented on how delicious it was and we are still enjoying leftovers. It wasn't just great for kosher food, it was just great food.
Applause catered my wedding and I could not have been happier! Not only was the food incredible but Cary and David were so wonderful to work with. They made everything so easy and it all turned out exactly as I hoped it would. Applause is by far the best Kosher caterer in Toronto and I will be sure to continue to use them for all of my future occasions!
I used Applause for my father's 80th birthday party at my home. The food was delivered on time, the staff were terrific, so much so that I didn't have to lift a finger. The passed apps were delicious and the main course was very tasty. Not your typical kosher menu. Much more upscale and tasty. I'd use Applause again for any of my parties and simchas in the future! Thanks Terra and David for making this a very special celebration!
Applause catered our son's bar mitzvah at our synagogue this past weekend. The food was excellent, as was their team. Guests of all ages were raving. Thank you David, Sharon and team! You were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end.

Applause Catering provided us with a seamless and wonderful experience. The food was incredible our guests all commented on how delicious it was and the service and staff were excellent. Cary made a point of coming by first thing in the morning to ensure everything was on track and it was a real pleasure working with Applause. Thank you for helping to make our event so amazing!
Things still haven't changed since Cary performed a bait and switch at my daughter's wedding 5 years ago. We went for a tasting at the BethTzedec and decided on the steak however on the night of the wedding they served a cheap inedible hunk of overcooked meat. Some things you just never forget. I would have hoped that the synagogue would have become wise to his tricks and kicked him out by now.
