This was my first time here and it definitely will not be my last. The food here was amazing and super authentic. The service was exceptional, and as it was our first time eating authentic Indian cuisine, the servers were more than happy to help explain to us what certain items were, as well as provide their own recommendations. We sat outside on their patio, which had awesome views of the airplanes landing and taxiing on the tarmac. The prices were very good, the location was perfect, the food was delicious and the service couldnt have been any better. They even let us sample some desserts before we had them sell 8 of their personal favourites to us. Super friendly and personable staff. Cant wait to go back and try more items. 100% recommend Vegetarian options: Menu has many vegetarian items and are clearly labelled as such on the menu. Parking: Restaurant has its own private parking lot. Super spacious, plenty of spots.
This was my third visit and the food was still great. Everything was hot and fresh and tasted amazing. The price was very affordable. The service was pretty good, our items took a while to get to us but to be fair the place was extremely busy. The whole restaurant was packed, huge props to the kitchen staff for being able to keep up with that many people. They work really hard because the food was great. My only complaint really was that the music was loud. It was hard to have a conversation with my table because of the volume. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
We drove all the way from Markham to have a little adventure for some authentic Indian cuisine. Apna Pind is definitely the place to go to. We didn’t know what to order so our service recommended 1 appetiser and 2 mains. They all taste exceptionally good. The nann is so soft, each curry have their own unique flavour. Staff are friendly, restaurant is clean. Will definitely come again.
This place is giving exactly what the name Says. ‘Apna Pind’ apna Punjabi food vibes. The food is so simple yet so tasty! The taste of Real Punjab! I fell in love with this place’s food! I will not go anywhere else to have Punjabi comfort food but here. 5 Stars for everything! Love this place! Love the food! Love the people who work here, very kind and sweet people!
Amazing restaurant!!! The experience - This was my first time eating Indian food, and I've been blown away. I am happy that I had my first Indian food experience at this lovely restaurant. Will definitely be back for more one day! The atmosphere - Lively music and a very nice overall atmosphere. I've never been to India, but I could imagine the atmosphere at this restaurant was very similar of that to authentic India. We sat outside on the patio and it was beautiful to watch the sunset and airplanes turning on the tarmac. The staff - were very welcoming, took the time to explain many dishes to us, and also let us try some desserts free of charge. We felt we were treated with such respect and kindness. Many thumbs up for the wonderful staff. The food - was out of this world amazing. Very flavourful and many options to choose from. On the menu - Pani Puri Chicken seekh kabob Non veg thali Many desserts I'm unsure of the name!! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options that were separated and clearly marked on the menu.
Had a very nice experience. The food tastes authentic Indian. We ordered chole bahure and Amritsari kulcha which tasted exactly like you will find in Delhi. Tandoori chicken was also good. Coming back for sure.Food: 5/5
Really good food, one of the best chole chickpea curry bhature. It’s not a fine dine in restaurant but good family friendly place. Everyone in the restaurant is very welcoming and nice. Owner himself made sure couple of times that we like the food. Service is quick. Try their chai as well. They have separate dine in space for family or small group of people.
Had an excellent dinner here. This place offers great value for money. The service is excellent. The staff is attentive and responsive. The food was also great and quick. Enjoyed their breads and parathas more than the gravies. But all in all, it was a great experience! And as a bonus, they are open 24 hours for a few days! Will definitely recommend visiting this and will be back. Keep up the good work.
Amazing food , loved the Chana bhatura.. Chilly chicken was okay, not as I expected but everything else was mouth watering. I think the washrooms can be maintained a little better but overall staff was very attentive and gave a great service. Highly recommend this place for people looking for something authentic in flavor.Food: 5/5
Excellent food and service!! Went on a weekday evening for dinner. We ordered paneer pakora and chai first and it was just amazing. Later, we ordered chole bature which was very yummy and the carrot pickle alongside is good too. At last, we got Rara chicken with 2 tandoori rotis and they are absolutely tasty. The best part I liked is that they have 3-4 different types of mouth fresheners like saunf, jaggery, etc. which is really good. Overall, the food is very delicious and a nice service! I would definitely want to come back and try other items on the menu.
