Apex Pharmacy, Home Care, & Nutritional Center

Disclaimer; I work there. Apex is a unique community resource. There are lots of pharmacies in the area, but only one like Apex. Apex Pharmacy has services that very few pharmacies can, they have an extensive and knowledgeable Homecare department, a prescription compounding lab that makes veterinary, HRT, special dosage forms and many other things, and an extensive line of top quality, professional grade nutritional supplements. They have hard to find medications, and other products.

Excellent customer service. A compounding lab on the premises which is something you don't find often ( I've used the service many times for my dog's meds) very efficient and timely. This Pharmacy has a lot to serve the public. Nutrition area( a huge assortment of the best brands supplements and many other services.

After trying in vain to get an item at Yale Surgical (see my one-star review there), compared with which the Verizon Wireless store is a pleasant shopping experience), I drove to Hamden to get the same item at Apex. After I was politely directed to the correct department, the clerk greeted my appropriately, looked at my prescription, walked directly to the correct item hanging on a retail rack, answered all my questions professionally, rang me up, threw in a 10% discount just because it was a nice day, and I was outta there. Was this the greatest retail shopping experience of my life? Well, buying surgical supplies isn't all that exciting. But it was polite, efficient, competent (No one said, "Oh, I'll have to check with my supervisor."), and painless. Plus the parking is easy. Could I have bought the same item on Amazon for a few dollars less? Probably, but I wouldn't have known exactly which item to buy. This was better.

They could not provide a elevator license number. It's like having a day laborer install your stairlift.

I love them i go to get mt mom medical things from here and both girls there are alway wonderful nicole and the other young lady they always help me and are real polite and helpfull i do recommended.
