Experienced reviewer here with over 100 reviews, so read this carefully. As a Torontonian, For the amount of money I am paying to be an Anytime Fitness member, I expect a pristine, clean and safe gym. This is not one of them. I am only visiting Montreal, and first went to the Sainte-Julie location to realize it is not even built yet, 2 stars. I travel to this Montreal location and kept thinking about how many things could be so wrong, here is a list. Firstly, what is the point of having a lock and a key fob if you are not going to use it. I tapped my fob, like I am supposed to with one on each door only to realize they are both open, the door is not locked? Why are people paying $60-70 a month if randoms can just walk in. Second, there are no change rooms and all the lockers are taken by members, these should be day use only. Third, the gym is very dirty considering its 60-70 a month gym, trash cans are full, none of the equipment are wiped and the equipment is broken/needs maintenance and/or is ripped to shreds and these factors can possibly cut or injure or worse. Fourth, while I was in there one member brought two friends with him, making the gym more crowded, this is supposed to be a club that is members only. Fifth, the water fountain is barely working and I cannot trust that the filter has been changed and the water flow for reusable water bottles is a tiny tinkle and also did not trust that it was being filtered. This gym makes you sign a contract with a whole bunch of rules and none of them are posted. My highschool gym had old equipment in better shape and they were very underfunded. Maintenance and upholstery is important. We are talking about safety and liability, which there is a sign at the entrance stating that you may get hurt, how about making it more safe. Zero Stars. Now, these are suggestions that I strongly recommend this gym work on. For now though thumbs down. Helpful?
Clean,nice staff/management,much older crowd. The gym does have staffing hours so if you plan on contacting them do it within the staffing hours. Definitely worth signing up especially if your just starting off your fitness journey open 24/H. Really enjoy this gym compared to other franchises. I can’t wait for the company to open other locations.
I do work out here because its near my apartment. So far the equipments were good and good thing about this Gym its open 24/7.
Great small community gym in the heart of Montreal with a variety of equipment great for weightlifting, they have a platform!. The manager is great and the staff is friendly.
It's a great gym with an amazing staff. Very convenient and it has everything you need. A heavy boxing bag is my favorite.

Very friendly staff, and, despite its size, has everything one would need in a gym! A lot of machines, very nice plates and a large area to stretch.
Nothing but great things to say about this gym. The manager Adonis is very kind and considerate. Clean gym, most delicious water i've ever had and great atmosphere. Fantastic gym, definitely consider making this your next gym.
Super small gym but it’s got most of the equipment you need 3 squat racks and one platform here, no barbells though Truly open 24 hours for members which is a huge bonus. Seems to always be clean. Small lockers, change rooms, and a shower are available.
The 7 day Free Trial is for potential members to try the gym and then decide wether or not they want to take the membership. The 59.99$ Plus tax is a deposit for a keyfob that will grant you a 24hr access to the gym during the trial. That amount is then given back in case the person decides to not take the membership. Every other fees are ONLY applied once an individual has decided to become a member.
