Run and jump and play - my whole life that's really all I ever wanted to do. Problem was, multiple injuries and numerous surgeries got in the way, compromising my body mechanics and providing really convenient excuses to avoid regular, strenuous exercise. 
 
Today, however, I'm living a different life, thanks, in part, to Anytime Fitness. The friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff; choice of equipment; and convenient location all contributed to an easy decision to join. The twice-weekly training sessions with Matt Cole, who, with a delightfully weirdo sense of humor, safely challenges my limits, builds my confidence and keeps me motivated to learn - and DO - even more. And I can, because, at 56, I'm in the best shape of my life – running, jumping and playing. 
 
I so appreciate having Anytime and Matt in my corner!

Very cramped space and getting worse. After the remodel, there is even less space as another office has been built. Not sure why a such a small location needs two offices. 

A large multi-function platform was placed in the middle of the old video training room making most of the space unusable. They also opened up the video training room to the main weight room which makes for a lot of noise when in use. Also, no more than one person can really use the video trainer at a time due to limited space. After several months, the room is still not finished.

There is no communication from the manager or owner on what is going on so I would not recommend joining until after the work is done. 

Machines and weights are hard to use as they are so close to another. Seems like who ever is designing the new space doesn't understand fitness centers. There is little or no flow to the space. Back door is blocked by several machines so hope you never need to get out in an emergency. Weight machines have been disappearing with no reason. Not sure if they are getting replaced or just gotten rid of.

This location also has a lot of members consistently dropping weights on the floor as they work out. Having to listen to the constant slamming of weights on the ground can get on your nerves.

I use a lot of different Anytime Fitness centers throughout the US, this is by far the poorest managed and operated one I have been to. Could be really good space if the owner knew what to do.

No free parking for members. I wasted the time I had  before work driving down here to find that I had to pay to work out at the gym I ALREADY pay for. Ridiculous.

Lots of machines and cardio. Lots of kettlebell up to 36 kg.

Best gym in Minneapolis downtown. Best personal trainers. Very economic. Good machines and maintenance.
