We will greatly miss this neighborhood gem. The food was always fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Their plants and flowers were always dependably healthy.
Great foods and salad bar, wonderful selection of the best greenery, pots, and plants around. It's really expensive $$$+. Service is sometimes not what you'd expect. But if price isn't an issue get your plants here.
After spending quite a sum here over the last year, I am finally going to voice my sentiment. Today was the final straw. Food is ok- the hot bar is nothing exceptional. Salad bar is good, but I’ve gotten sick every time I eat the meat from it. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing. Deli and other prepped foods, ok. Everything- OVERPRICED I have been coming here 2 to 4 times a week for lunch. For me this review is NOT about food, but about the customer service. Besides having to wait over 15 minutes in floral for someone to come assist me last time, when the store was dead and they paged twice. Today was the final straw. On my way out, I said I’m going to grab some extra napkins. The cashier said no and put her hand over them, I could accept this if it was for sanitation though she handles money all day, but it was what was said next that sent me through the roof. I’m sorry you can’t get them, here hands me 2 napkins that are cheap and thin/low-grade, it’s only 2 per customer. Regardless of the fact I have big hands and both hot and cold food, having spent about $20 on what costs less than $8. Enough is enough! There are better options just down the road. I try and support small businesses, but when you stop providing a level of service, I’m over it. So, keep giving 2 napkins per customer, as I’ll spend my thousands a year on lunch elsewhere. Penny smart, dollar dumb.
Best salad bar around, always beautifully fresh. Best baked goods too. And they're so nice.
I ised to love their food bar and soups, but due to Covid-19/they don't have it now. I like the unique items in the store. Vases, flower posts, art, small furnishings and furniture, plants and food. A really cool store.
Awesome place. Not the cheapest but reasonable. Great selection of fake and real plants. Incredible even. It's like a mini green house. They also have a pretty kick butt salad bar. Yum
Disappointed--talking about the grocery area only, as I didnt venture to the gift area. They used to have so many fun things, different from everywhere else. I walked in last week and bought...nothing. Everything was boring. No special treats, no special foods or baked goods. Just what you'd find anywhere else, which is bad because the place is so small. I have been a customer since at least 1997, this makes me sad.
Obsessed with this fruit market. I get all my plants flowers n their deli selection is to die for. Huge salad bar and tons of deli options.
Love this place for hot food and salad! I'm in here a lot during my lunch hour with my friends. It is a little bit pricier than Mariano's down the road, but well worth it!
The freshest fruit, the tastiest hot bar, the biggest variety of items at the salad bar — and delicious deserts. Anton’s is so much more of a ‘fruit ranch’, it’s neighborhood institution.
