Antique Boat Museum (ABM) Statement of Purpose:
To collect, preserve, study and interpret objects related to the fresh water nautical history of small craft (less than 100′) of eastern North America, with emphasis on the St. Lawrence River and the surrounding area.

Amazing collection of boats, motors, and history of navigation on the St. Lawrence River. It is thoroughly fascinating. I try to go at least once a year. They also have a nice boat house with different boats in the water and host an annual boat show This is a must see if you're in the area. Easy parking, inexpensive fee. Clayton's fire boat is on the municipal dock too!

If you enjoy boats and want to know the history of many different boats, this is the place for you. You can easily spend a couple to several hours here. You can also enjoy some time in a row boat while there.

Beautiful wood boats some looking like they can off the show room floor. Reasonably priced. Spent 3 hrs wandering around. Even the wood work in the buildings needs to be appreciated.

If you appreciate restoration of very classic watercraft, you will enjoy your visit. A golden era of elite and expensive toys from a gone by time.
