Anoka County Library Crooked Lake

I came in a few weeks ago with the newspaper about the ch. 2 show by Ken Burns. I seen it was a series on ch. 2 and missed it. I asked the librarians at Crooked Lake Library if they could get this dvd in . And I see today they did, and I put it on hold. It is called " The Vietnam War" . By the time I get to check it out may be snowed in and ready for this series of wonderful programming by PBS and the Library having it on the shelf. I love the library! It is usually pretty quiet and the librarians and staff are very nice and helpful. It is amazing that you can get books, movies, cds, anything, pretty much for free! This branch is not the biggest for Anoka county, but if there is anything you want that is at another branch you can place a hold on it and get it in a couple days. You can use the computers to do a variety of things, print stuff out, etc, I even saw a kid playing Minecraft the other day. :)

I love this Library - it is clean and neat and the staff is just wonderful - they are so cheerful and always ready to help and so gracious!

Stacey the librarian has been a huge help when I went back to school. She is very knowledgeable and was able to give me materials that helped me with completing my assignments. The Crooked lake library is more family friendly I can see my kids more clearly from all vantage points. They have a great staff that are welcoming and helpful!
