My boyfriend and I always wanted to try this place out & it was phenomenal! The ...
The building itself is amazing!! Well worth the visit. It’s clean with good service. It deserves 3 out of 3 stars The ice cream was just horrible. Had to throw it out. My friend thought the same about hers. Tastes artificial, full of ice and sugar. I’ll return to try their baked goods. Will update this review accordingly
Can you believe I took my kids start biking from Glenfield in order to go to stop by at Annie's cafe for their reward! It's always been a nice area to rest in the summer afternoon.
A great place in fish Creek for a quick snack or drink when biking through the place. They have lot of options for food and drinks. Place gets busy on weekends so don't get startled by thr queue. Otherwise, helpful staff, places to sit outside in the open.
Always busy when the weather is nice, I think that says something. I had the veggie panini, which I loved, came with homemade I think potato chips, super yummy, too. Also grabbed a piece of apple strudel, that was ok. I can make a better one . Still 5 stars, overall just a great vibe and tasty treats on a good day hike:
We had a coffee and ice cream at half price. The maple nut and chocolate were amazing. Very cozy place with lots of outdoor seating. Great place to stop for a little break
Went for a nice fall day walk in Fish Creek. Stopped for a delicious sandwich at Annie's like we always do. Wonderful old house, quaint interior architecture and great outdoor spots to sit and enjoy your meal. This is a real gem in Calgary. Its a short walk from the parking lot for those that have difficulty walking and for those who want to go for a short walk or hike there are several paths that you can discover. A few steps and you can be crossing a bridge and looking at a beautiful view of the river like the picture I took today. Its a favorite spot for photographers taking landscape pictures or family portraits.
The food was pretty good, great helpful serviceRecommended dishesMac & Cheese
A little hidden gem in Fish Creek park! Perfect for dog walkers or cyclists… grab a coffee and a sweet treat! I’ll be back next for something off the lunch menu. Bonus that it’s a beautiful area to explore with a lot of history! Love all the cute places to sit, and the little park next to the cafe with lots of sculptures and historical information.
This is such a beautiful little gem. Homemade baking at its best as well as other foods like hamburger sandwiches etc always served on fresh baked bread and buns. I honestly can't think of one thing that I could say negative about this place. Highly recommend it!Food: 5/5
Went here for ice cream with the family. Unique old building which was super cool . Got the maple walnut icecream , which was super yummy. Prices were a tad high for what they had to offer , though they would have more variety of icecream flavors for advertising at an icecream shop. Dessert looks very tasty, will be trying them next visit.
