This place is a hidden gem. The breakfast is top notch and some of the best you can get in Jackson Mi. I always go for the stuffed French toast or pancakes. Today I decided to try out their lunch and ordered a cheeseburger and was not disappointed. Fresh ingredients and great flavor. I also love that they always give you a complimentary soup no matter the time of day or what your order consists of. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in Jackson.

Had a really great experience! The food was very good with decent portions. We had the egg pancake combo and a double meat omelette, came out fast, but they weren’t very busy being Christmas Eve. The free soup sample was interesting, and the soup tasted good even with breakfast. Relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. Kept our coffees full and kept serving after we paid, a nice uncommon bonus. Overall we will most definitely be back. This place is a perfect alternative to our usual Roxy Saturday breakfasts.

Had a strange, not great, breakfast experience. Came in to an empty restaurant, which being used to Roxy or West End should have been a sign that things might not be spectacular. Coffee was pretty bad. I don't expect diner coffee to be great but this is definitely lowest tier. After ordering, I was brought a small bowl of chicken noodle soup. I don't really understand why - at breakfast those flavors aren't really what I'm looking for. I tried a couple bites and it was okay - not bad, not great. Then, just as bizarre, the bowl was taken away without explanation. I really have no idea what that was about. Country fried steak skillet - eggs were overcooked and not seasoned at all. The fried steak was adequate, not great or terrible. The hash browns were well seasoned and good. I did not eat a ton as I wasn't impressed, just brought most of it home for my animals. The place had a very chaotic energy for me being the only customer, as two TVs with sound on were competing with a loud radio from the kitchen. I was not a fan. Service was friendly. Was given a punch card for 11th meal free but I can't see myself coming back when Roxy and West End exist and are superior in the same price range. *************REPLIES TO BELOW*************** I came in at 820 based on timestamp of a picture I took and sent my partner. One other table came in around when I left at 8:45 Over medium eggs still have some runny yolk, these didn't. I've had seasoned eggs many places. Soup was presented without explanation and taken away without explanation. How would you feel about something like that?

No photos, my apologies. We stopped in for a late morning breakfast/lunch. We were greeted immediately. When we sat down, we were given a complimentary bowl of potato and bacon soup, which was amazing! My wife ordered a veggie omelet with pancakes and hashbrowns. I ordered a gyro pita with fries. No joke, our food was out to us within 5 minutes. Every table we saw come in was the same, I've never been anywhere like this where the food came so quickly. 10/10 would recommend

Easily the best breakfast/lunch spot in downtown Jackson. I go there several times a week and have never had a bad meal or service. Bonus tip: get some gravy Togo to throw on your dog's food, they'll love you forever.Food: 5/5
