Well this is the best pizza I’ve had in a long time! The crust is so delicious with a slight sweet taste! The ingredients are quality and makes it a great pie! The kids enjoyed the Mac and cheese pizza as well as the spaghetti! So good! Worth the hour drive to get it!
Just your standard old way pizza place. The parking is free and plentiful. The service is ok at best but the food is usually good but from time to time it is lacking as well. We started out with one server and he was doing very well as in he was quick and thorough but it then transferred to others and the service declined as it went. Getting your food to go might be a good idea especially if you have a sensory sensitive person in your party as it can be rather loud in there.
Some of the Greatest Pizza in North America. They have Italian Sub Sandwiches and Italian hamburger's Sub Sandwiches that are smothered in a sauce that is delish. There bread is fresh. They Also have taco pizza. I mean real taco Pizza. There Spaghetti is some of the best, they have fresh meat balls and most of the food is made the same day. Very fresh. They are ranked like number 3 in America.
The best around hands down. I've enjoyed having this place in my neighborhood for decades. It was my 1st job, just as everyone else in the neighborhood. My favorites are sliced beef & banana pepper pizza, spaghetti pizza, and the garlic bread with cheese. The dense bread with a sweet /salty taste made fresh daily and baked in that vintage ovenno metal conveyors here
The food here is always good, I eat there when I am in the area. Their specialty pizzas are different from most, very big and very filling. I personally love their spaghetti pizza. Which leads me to anything made with their sauce. It's all delicious. I frequent the family bucket of pastas for my family of four. It's plenty for us and really stinking good You always have to check your bag here as I often have had things missing. They easily hand it over but when you have a hungry family one doesn't like to have to run back to the restaurant. Also it's a local town so they were very comfortable about complaining amongst themselves and personally I don't like to wait for my food where people so loudly display thier misery. I'm vulgar myself at times but I can see how people would view it as unprofessional for a family Pizzeria Food is fantastic!
Nasty. Enough said. Italian Beef so dry can't even chew it. Sauce tasted burnt. How does that even happen. Cheesy Garlic bread was very undercooked and had so much unmelted cheese under the very top layer AND the cheese was still cold. Angelo's Special pizza was he absolute worst tasting pizza I have ever had. Veggies are not even fresh and were super mushy. Ended up tossing almost $50 in food and going to McDonald's which I am not a fan of, but anything would have tasted better than this gross food.
Ordered 2 pizza's last night, upon arrival, turns out that one of them was made wrong. They did catch this mistake and made another one super fast !! For my time, I was given a free order of garlic bread with cheese and sauce !!! The whole staff working last night were all involved with making the situation better and made it a Awesome experience even though they were swamped !!! Highly recommend Angelo's in Rock Falls !!
Pizza is good, when we went it was just packed and a lady kept bumping her behind into my father while we were trying to sit there and eat….also seemed a little understaffed, other than that the food was great!!!
I felt the pizza was overpriced. They didn't cut the pizza well and i didn't like how they don't serve them a box, they put it in a paper bag. I was genuinely worried about getting grease on my car seat. I got the extra large meat lovers for $30 but felt like it wasn't extra large, me and one other guy split it. Pizza was good but not worth the price.
Since the bigger Angelo's is still closed, this one is picking up the slack. The help is constantly busy. The phone never stops ringing here. The food is always excellent.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: No
