TLDR: AMAZING STAFF, PRICES, AND SERVICE. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to buy or rent a suit for any occasion. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the staff to the moment I walked out with my suits, I felt important and respected by the team. I started with Val to take measurements and pick out a style. She was knowledgeable, patient, and extremely polite. On my return visit, I met Nick, and he was cheerful and knowledgeable and made sure I was getting what I needed. He explained how a suit should fit, how it should look on me, and why he suggested changes. He didn't try to upsell me on anything and was more worried about how I would look at the altar next to my soon-to-be wife than how to make another dollar off me. Even amid the shop being busy with prom season, he took the time to make sure I was taken care of. I ended up buying 2 jackets for the tuxedo. One for the wedding day, and another for the wedding parties Much more fun, and definitely recommend!. Wish I had another occasion to buy a suit as I want all businesses to make me feel this good shopping. I had tried using Moores between measuring and fitting appointments at Andrews, as I wanted to see the difference. The people did not want to give me the time of day, did not understand the difference between barrel or french cuffs, and wanted more money out of me to alter the suit but couldn't explain what they would even do. I felt rushed and unimportant. Just go to Andrew's and skip the headaches! 10/5 Stars!
There’s not much I can say here that hasn’t been said before. Overall, fantastic experience from start to finish. I was able to book an appointment with less than a week before my event they said they could even do it day before or same day… for context, a place like Moore’s requires at least two weeks to get your suit ready to go. During my appointment, they managed to fit me, find the perfect suit, and do the necessary modifications with time to spare. I worked with Nick, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. It was obvious he wasn’t just trying to make a sale, but he wanted to make sure I looked at my best during the event, and brought out multiple options to try in order to strike the right balance between looks and comfort. He also took the time to get to know my event and a bit about myself which is always a nice added touch. Ultimately the tux arrived in perfect condition, and returns were a hassle free process. I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends.
This is the only place we go to for my husband when we have an event wedding included!. Whether you want to rent or buy a suit/tuxedo, Nick's your guy. He is extremely polite and friendly, and very knowledgeable about the business. Many options and styles to choose from. They have shoes, socks, suspenders, cufflinks, ties, bowties, you name it they have it. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend!!
My husband rented his tuxedo from Andrew's Formals Rentals & Sales for our wedding. He was very anxious about not being able to try on the clothes until a few days before the wedding, but we were repeatedly told "I'm not worried". And honestly, we weren't worried because they knew what they were doing. The tuxedo looked absolutely spectacular, the size fit absolutely perfectly. It was clean and sharp. Thank you so much for reducing our stress and helping us make our day as special as it was ‍
My boss is in Toronto on a conference and found out this morning his event tomorrow night is black tie and he needed a tux rental urgently. I called over 10 people and no one could accommodate him. When I called Andrew's, the staff were so friendly and said they would fit him in right away. My boss is now suited up and ready for the event tomorrow! Amazing customer service.
Hands down the most incredible partners for us during our wedding. Nick, Carmella, and their staff made our lives so much easier and ensured everything turned out perfectly and we had so much fun along the way. They are the absolute hardest working people I've met. If you are considering them, stop your search right now and just set an appointment with them. Planning a wedding is so stressful so having the right people in your corner is essential.
Nick is simply amazing! He special ordered my tux and pulled strings to get it. I couldn’t be happier with his service. He’s also a really good guy and wants you to look your best for your big day. I really appreciated all his help and I can’t recommend a better suit rental shop in the GTA than Andrew’s Formals Rentals & Sales!
Great experience in store. They stayed late to get me properly fitted. However, now that I'm putting on the suit the day of the wedding I'm noticing a lot of frayed string on the tie and pocket square I rented. The jacket is improperly tailored and the pants are tailored too long. It's not the end of the world, but for a two day $300 rental I expected better tailoring.
Was looking online for a place to rent a suit a few days before an event, and this place came up as one of the best rated in my area. Very professionally run and was in and out with a well fitted suit in less than an hour. These guys are pros. Will definitely be returning!
