Anderson Veterinary Clinic is a full service veterinary family practice, fully accredited by the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia. We provide a variety of services and products for your pets including: Examinations, Vaccination Programs, Behavioural Consultations, Puppy and Kitten Care, Spay and Neuters, Dentistry, Imaging (X-ray and Ultrasound), General Surgery, Animal Pharmacy, Diagnostic Testing (In house Laboratory), Nutritional Counselling, Prescription Diets, Palliative Care Counselling.

Greatest vets ever I would bring my pets here no problem
Biggest rave to Dr Van Engelen and assistant Sam, they were able to get the mats off of my 21 year old cat who is no longer able to groom himself and won’t let me brush his underside. This is no small feat! In fact, two other vets and a groomer have been unable to do this job in the past because of how loose the skin of such an old kitty is but these ladies went above and beyond. They were so gentle with my old fella, they got him all cleaned up and loved on him, too, and gave him lots of breaks so he didn’t come home traumatized. I am more than grateful. I am absolutely thrilled that I’ve finally found the help my elderly cat needs, thank you so much to Dr Van Engelen and the compassionate staff at this clinic! <3
Very smart and well versed vet had seen our aging Boxer, Quinn. They helped our old lady get over some back pain. Very nice facility and friendly staff.
My cat was coughing constantly and I thought he had a trapped hair ball in his throat. After I noticed he was starting to breathe through his mouth, plus seeing he was taking quick short breaths, I decided he must go to a vet. At Anderson, they managed to slot my cat in on the same day. He had an x-ray done here and found water build up around his lungs which was limiting his breathing capability. They quickly got in contact with the veterinary hospital in Kelowna for treatment. Thanks to the quick actions done by Anderson, my cat is still here. Thank you.
When I booked my appointment, I was told my neutor exam was free. When I was done appointment they wanted $80.00. After explaining that the Secretary had told me appointment was free, due to I was previous customer/client. Their reply was, that only applies if you've been into office in past 6 months. They still wanted a reduced amount of $50.00. I only paid the $50.00 due to not wishing to affect my credit. In my opinion the appointment should have been free, due to the fact the error was made by their secretary. It's not my fault, as a client to have to pay when error was their's. I would not have booked the appointment at that time. I would have waited until after a new paid visit for shots or ?, was made to ensure exam was free, if I had been given the opportunity to choose. Secretary experience or lack of is not the clients fault.
After a traumatic accident I brought my dog there in hopes of saving him.. I was short with the girls, because I was losing my best friend. They were compassionate and understanding throughout, and were gentle with him as he passed on. I apologized afterwards for my lack of emotional control and they were nothing but empathetic. The next day I received flowers sympathizing for the loss of my boy. I cannot put into words how amazing everyone was there. On my worst day, they were their best.
I used Anderson Veterinary Clinic for the first time today because my regular vet clinic wasn’t open. My experience was outstanding. The clinic staff were able to accommodate my emergency appointment request this morning even though I wasn't a regular client, were friendly, professional and kind. Dr. John Cruickshank was amazing. He is very knowledgeable, was thorough with his examination, explained everything in simple terms I easily understood, and his 'bedside manner' was fantastic. I intend to return to this clinic as a regular client and highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you to Dr. Cruickshank and all the staff for your awesome work!
Always friendly, professional and courteous. Honest and clear delivery of services and information. My dogs are 15 and 13 and couldn't be happier with Dr Bull's care and attention. We have been his patient since moving from Australia in 2019. Thank you all for keeping my ruffians healthy.
