Story

Inspired by the social tradition of European café culture and the charm of light-filled Parisian boutiques, Amusé aims to bring a bit of the City of Light our very own Electric City. Amusé specializes in Fair Trade Organic whole bean coffee, loose tea, French-inspired pastries and will introduce Peterborough to exciting new ways of enjoying some classic favourites! Amusé isn’t your average coffee shop. With a face you may recognize from other cafes (c’est moi!) and an inviting atmosphere, not to mention the perfect assortment of goodies and gift ideas, you’ll be right at home.

I stopped at this little coffee shop mid-week for an earl grey eggnog latte and a scone, and they were both lovely! The staff were friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is relaxed but classy and very hip. I'm looking forward to a return visit!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! We live in Toronto and visit relatives in Peterborough numerous times per year and we *Always* stop in for lunch here every time their home-made sandwiches and soups are that good. We make additional trips here to buy all our fresh coffee beans here...always fresh...just to also have lunch here! We love this place!

My favorite people run this shop.  They are so.kond and the quality of the coffee and baked goods is mind blowing.   I would advise if you are wanting a beautiful experience  to stop in Amusè for lunch or a simple cup of Java. (They also offer fancy and festive drinks)

I've been visiting a lot of Cafes recently, but this one really stuck out to be a really great spot. We accidentally passed it on the drive here, but we were more than glad once we made it. The staff are absolutely lovely, and the food is great. Drinks are good, and the prices are pretty good too. The decor is nice, and the place was clean.

Definitely four and a half stars. Will be back again.
