Great place for a quick snack if you’re in a rush. The food is good, enormous portions and possibilities to create your plate too! mixing whatever you want The owner works hard, his staff is friendly and helpful.
I had a very nice fresh Falafel platter with a lot of salads It was so good
Worst Amir in Quebec. This was my second time coming here hoping that maybe they changed from the first bad experience, but they did not, still terrible. Both times the shish taouk wrap was cold, un-grilled, loosely wrapped and tasteless. The potatoes are also cold and dry, with very little taste that you usually get from basically any other Amir in Quebec, even the one in the Eatons center downtown is MUCH better. These guys don't know how to cook the food properly or even prepare it properly. Extremely disappointing and wont be coming back here, I'm surprised they're still in business but I cant imagine they will be for much longer. I would advise the owner to go and try an Amir at another location and compare his food, he will see the difference but I cant imagine they care because the food here as been terrible for at least 1-2 years. Hard pass.
I got the chicken plate with salad. Lots of chicken, but it's kind of dry. For veggies it's okay, but I hope they can have the sauce aside for takeout or meal delivery. Overall, worth the price.
I usually enjoy the shish taouk plates. Staff is friendly. Please improve quality control. Today rice is a mix of old dry rice and new soft rice. A bit awkward… but good overall
Very delicious and friendly stuff, great place for us as students to grab a sandwich before class. The service is fast and the portions are very generous. They have also various vegetarian plate and sandwiches choices. I recommend to try the impossible sandwich. Also, i recommend to take the platter if anyone have long day in school. I also thanks the owner for giving 10% student discount which can help a lot of students with the variety offered there.
Terrible franchise. Showed up 45 min before closing when the guy at the counter said that he's only selling pita's because he's too lazy to make plates before closing. He then completely butchered the pita and did not put anything that I asked for on it
The food is what you would expect of a shawarma franchise, just ok!
I ended up at Amir very hungry after chatting with friends for a long time past dinner. We asked the chef if it was too late, and he said no, and made us a fresh batch of falafel. It was excellent and really hit the spot! I am a fan of pickles in my falafel wrap, and I enjoyed the pickles in mine. I would definitely come back. Also, I like the mosaic artwork on the floor in the entry way.
Food was good for the price, but had to wait a lot of time for my friend's food. Cashier actually forgot to give me the potatoes from my order, but she was very kind and quick to get some when I realized the error. Lastly, I would have appreciated if the staff were a bit more strict with customers not really wearing their masks they were covering only their chins, not their mouths nor nose.
