Best birria tacos in K/W? I stop by here when I'm in the neighborhood which is sadly not often and always come for the tacos. By far the best I have tasted in town. I also get some of their grocery items when I'm there. They have a nice selection of Latin food items. I love their selection of sauces, salsas and other condiments. Keep up the great job, and I will be back next time I'm in area.
I heard about this place numerous times on local Facebook groups and decided to try it out when I was in the area. Their birria tacos were fantastic and just like the ones I had in Mexico - full of flavour and just the right amount of heat. The empanadas were great too - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with delicious and ample filling. I was also happy to find guascas in their grocery section as it's not easy so to find. Looking forward to trying their tacos al pastor next time!
We stopped in after a work lunch for churros, and they were to die for! I have never been more satisfied with a churro in my life. Get the Dulce de Leche on the side, it’s a highly recommend. There were some folks eating tacos which also looked amazing. This is also a great grocery store for all your Latina grocery needs including tortillas, sauces and spices. I’ve had the pupusas on a past visit and would highly recommend, but don’t leave without a churro! 10/10.
Very authentic homemade Mexican fair. I really enjoyed the birria tacos. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and it is also a grocery store. I will be returning!Food: 5/5
The pupusas were terrible, got the pork and cheese. The pork was completely bland and tasteless and there was not a speck of cheese to be found anywhere. Came with a side salad but no fork provided The only thing decent was the churos. 3 pupusas and 3 churos 18$ Disappointed.
I am originally from the southern U.S.A and I've enjoyed so many wonderful Latin restaurants in my homeland. I've had a difficult time finding a similar experience in Canada until finding this lovely place. This place is easily now my #1 favourite place to eat since living in Canada. Everything my significant other and I ordered was very delicious. We ordered birria tacos, pupusas, tamales, chicken tacos, empanadas, Al Pastor tacos, plantains, churros, and a side Guacamole. We just went yesterday and we are already going back today. I pray this establishment never shuts down because I will be heartbroken. Did I forget to mention that the grocery store is also wonderful? The shelves are full of so many hard-to-find Latin ingredients.
Very good. Fresh food: see photos below. Birria tacos were GREAT. Chicken tacos were great. Empanadas were delicious. Everything was SO good.
Excellent latin american grocery with a food counter inside. The empanadas are a little small but the corn pastry is flavourful and at the perfect crispness and full of yummy beef and potatoes. The Guatemalan Tamales were new for me but also delicious. The time waiting for the food wasn't wasted as the store has a great variety of hard to find Mexican food staples such as Oaxan cheese and canned tomatillos and hominy. I will definitely be back.
Authentic tasting Latin American food, with a good variety of things to try. My favourite thing that I tried were the empanadas.
Amazing little kitchen in the back. They serve the best tacos I had in this area. Authentic birria tacos, empanadas and tamales. Hidden gem. They also have a great selection of Latin American groceries.
