Incredible shop. Clean, bright, inviting, with all sorts of stuff beautifully displayed. Lots and lots of different things to choose from homemade chocolates, pistachio/chocolate-covered cookies, nuts, nougat, Turkish delight, fresh-ground coffee, and even a gelato counter!. The service was excellent from beginning to end. I was invited to sample any of the chocolates along the wall, which I did, and the one I chose was lovely - a great first impression. The person serving me was patient and kind with all my questions, and helped me choose some great chocolates. Then I got some nuts, too, which were fresh and very reasonably priced. A small tip - try the curry cheese cashews, they're AMAZING. I will absolutely be back!
I was at ameenz yesterday for the first time driven by the shares and stories on social media to see what the hype is all about , situated in a strip mall right across Costco merivale , Hassan the owner welcomed me . Quickly getting to pros and cons my usual style 1. You feel very welcome as a customer , you feel accommodated and taken care for 2. The Turkish coffee blend - home ground and brewed on hot sand , Hassan himself is a coffee connoisseur , and shares hi knowledge on beans on sale and how to brew them , I got myself half a pound of his home blend ground and am enjoying it every day 3. The nougats and delicacies : neatly arranged and on display most of them imported from Lebanon , Hassan has some of his own home made desserts like the diet baklava and dark chocolate coated baklava on display . Available in gift boxes if 2 sizes or individual purchase 4. Icecream s- the high light being ashta pistachio which is a Lebanese cream from reduced milk with a thick gooey consistency 5. Parking is comfortable Cons 1. There can be more tables but they are working on it I loved my time there and can't wait to back with a bunch of friends
Yummmm! Chocolate that tastes fresh and doesn't have an aftertaste! So many options and flavors. My daughter said this is her new favorite chocolate place. You must try their dark chocolate square in the pictures.
Delicious and delightful. I made a quick stop to pick up something small, but after seeing the variety and sampling, i couldn't resist - ended up with more than I had planned The chocolate is delicious and the Turkish delights are so fresh and no strong essence or flavoring tastes, just delightful. Go visit, you won't regret it.
What a hidden treasure! We are so happy we stumbled across this place. We tried Turkish coffee for the first time amazing my daughter enjoyed some tasty Gelato. We also had to try way too many other treats. The owner was so wonderful to explain everything to us. We will for sure be back! See you soon!
Amazing quality and even better customer service. The nougats and chocolates are authentic and taste just like the ones I've had back home.
I love Baklawa and finally I found a diet Baklawa here, also they have it with Dark Chocolate. I tried both of them, but the dark chocolate one was impressively delicious and light. RECOMMEND
Good and high quality Middle Eastern sweets. The customer service was superb. As i was not aware of all the different varieties. Hamed lets us sample things that we were not familiar with. The best treat for me was the cardamom and pistachio nougat. This is really a hidden gem across from the Costco.
Found this place by chance while getting groceries at Costco. Inside is clean and inviting. The owner was very friendly and introduced the various items on display and had a tray of samplers which he encouraged. Bought a mix of stuffed dates and variations of turkish delight types mixed with nuts, and nougats mixed with nuts, and all tasted very fresh and just the right amount of sweetness.
Ameenz' specialty chocolates, Raha and nougat are so fresh and delicious. My son always asks when we are going to Ameenz so he can get a dose of his favorites. He likes them so much so that he decided to give little sweet bags of his favorites to his friends for the end of the school year in the picture. As for me in addition to the chocolates, Raha and nougat, I really enjoyed the arabic coffee mix. Iam also addicted to the palestinian dates. They are so big and juicy unlike the ones you would get from a container. Last but not least, Ameenz takes the time listen to what you are looking for whether for a special event and customize to your needs like for my sons class. I definitely recommend this store to anyone who has a sweet tooth, loves nuts and . You will not be disappointed!
