Pretty small and packed store. Yes, it has a lot of Indian brands but too expensive. There are not many Indian stores in downtown, so this place gets the attention. Produce are not fresh at all. Rice and pulses - yes they have got everything.

They have Asian items available mostly for Asian people like India, Sri lanka, etc. The owner seems to be from Sri lanka..The store is small considering items and crowd here. It is too congested that a person or two cannot walk peacefully between the space provided if it is bit crowded... But good to find that most of the Indian items available here..Price wise it is costly than local grocery stores..Everything is on higher side.It hasn't changed a bit....

Ambal trading has all the variety of Indian food or basic home essentials. But pls make sure you are checking the expiry date of all the products. I got pressure cooker whistle today 4th sep2022 and tye manufacturing date was Feb 2015

I go here weekly to get karela bitter gourd. I had never heard of it, but I've told from many sources that it can help regulate your blood glucose. I get the juice and the fresh karela. They also have it in pickles and other products.... Of course I now also pick up great spices, lentils, sesame treats and other deliciousness I can't find anywhere else outside Little India. Friendly, helpful owners, too.

A blessing in Toronto, especially for south Indians who stay in downtown. I found thattai which is my fav snack back home . The staff are really understanding. I picked a wrong sauce bottle and they let me exchange it two days after, because i had unopened it. But I know some places where that could have gone south easily. They do care about their customers and being flexible like this really makes a big difference.

They have all Indian items from spices to variety od rices. They are not that much expensive! you can purchase vegies and Indian snacks. During some occasions they put offers. Their products dint dissappoint me. Good shop :

One of my fav store ... the people who are working in the store are really nice and humble with helping around to get stuff, whereas the prices are really reasonable and comparing it to other Indian stores they are competitive. It's a small store hopefully they may expand in future.

Great Selection of Indian Products quite many focused on south Indian and Sri Lankan cuisine... you can find pretty much all you need for a regular Indian meal here... lacks some North Indian selections but I'm sure they can get it for you...

Good shop for everyday Indian groceries, masalas! No return or refund though. So, check the items before you take it home. Price is reasonable and not cheap.

This shop is selling date expired items and overcharging to the customers. On the other hand, they prefer cash sales and no visa credit lower than $40 and selling unhealthy meat products as well. Government should be regulate this shop regularly and fined huge amount of money. They don’t care of the date expire items and selling them earn maximum profit.
