Worst representation of Indian food. Should stop selling Indian food. Terrible quality. Good service though.Food: 1/5
Surprised at all the bad reviews. I was there March 16th & ordered beef vindaloo with white rice & a side of saag paneer. Meat was well cooked & seasoned throughout and I prefer the white rice instead of the yellow one. Saag paneer was also nice with a fresh spinach taste that wasn’t overwhelmed by hype other ingredients. Would recommend you try for your self. One of my favourites.
What a disgrace to Indian food! Get serious about your business and stop ruining Indian cuisines. Ordered a veg thali, paid $15. Not one item was worthy enough to be called “food”, let alone cuisine. I will never eat here and advise everyone to stop wasting your money at this so called Indian food joint. Consider improving the food quality or changing your line of business.
Unbelievably bad! I had the lunch special a beef curry. The price seemed reasonable. First, the rice was badly overcook - mush! They gave me tons mushy rice. They topped it with the curry. No vegetables nothing but shredded fatty meat. The curry was terrible. It was sour and otherwise bland. I also had a naan. I had better store-bought naans! Overall, a very disappointing meal. My bad experience was confirmed by colleagues of Indian and Sri Lankan origins. Never again!
They increased the rate of all items to 1-2$ few months back, but the quality and quantity remain the same. When you go for rice with curry, the amount of curry u get is based on how much curry is left. If they have curry for only few people they will start sprinkling few drops on the rice. If the curry is not getting sold, they will pour it like water. Even their lemon juice was horrible.. seriously ?!? how can u get that wrong ?? my 2 year old niece can do that..
It's a shop in a food court and so quality is less and expensive. Thali with minimal amount of food cost me 14 dollars, an extra Bowl of rice was 5 dollars! Taste was good. Not suitable for quiet outings, should be fine for a quick eat.
Not worth the price.. very very expensive compare to other Indian Restaurants in the area based on their very small portion size. in-store prices are more expensive than the website prices. for the price of their thali you can have a full buffet just across the street with in 2 minute walk. been there few times, but then I regret going there when I look at the portion size and the amount I paid. just walk to King and John st have a full buffet which is much cheaper way better quality and taste than this place!!!!
Pls stop spoiling Indian food for your business. Sell the authentic taste and let people get accustomed to it. If they can’t eat it then they cannot eat India food, simple. Spicy is not always hot chillies. If you change the flavour don’t call it Indian. None of the dishes in thali tasted good, watery, tangy and devoid of any spice or flavours. The worst ! You add raw paneer to the gravy in front is the customer . Come onnnnn!!
Tried don't chicken out box. Notably the worst thing I ever had. Their chicken was not marinated - it was colored and colored Red. Above that, the Tandoori chicken was so hard and overdone. They serve it with plain rice, hardly any sauce gravy and its really hard to eat with the overcooked chicken. Will never ever go to this outlet - or perhaps to Amaya as well.
Among the worst Indian food I've had. The naan isn't real naan, it's more like a lower quality version or what you'd get at loblaws. The butter chicken was extremely watery, almost soupy. Don't eat here
