I am from Philadelphia and had my fill of Lobsters up here in Brunswick. Normally I don't dare get a Steak and Cheese outside Philly. But it was late and I didn't want to wait for a pizza. I ordered an Angus Steak and Cheese which came with Peppers, Onions, and Mushrooms. Outside Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, this was the BEST Cheese Steak I have eaten in a long while. I normally don't do reviews, but given that I can't usually find something this good, I felt that it deserved my time. Thanks. I look forward to eating here again when I come back on travel.

Slow service, soggy bread. DEFINITELY not "fast food'. On the bright side the seating is comfortable.

Great place for carryout or dining in. The food is prepared very well and it's quite tasty. For more than a decade the family has enjoyed eating at Amato's.
