Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

Posting on the menu what's gluten free would be great. I needed to have my waitress check the book they have with allergy notices. Felt like one of those pain in the butt customers but I have allergies to a few things and it doesn't mean I shouldn't go out to eat. The caprese chicken was really very good. We hadn’t been to Applebee’s for a long time due to bad experiences but we decided to give them another try. We waited 20 miniutes to be seated and almost another hour for our food to arrive. The french fries and onion rings were very cold and soggy from swimming in the huge puddle of blood on my plate due to my steak being extremely undercooked!!! It was supposed to be medium well NOT rare! I was very disgusted and disappointed. I sent my whole plate back and had that removed from the bill. I left and went next door to McDonald’s!!!

I haven't been to an applebees in quite a long time, so I was really excited to go in with my fiancee and have a nice dinner to celebrate my new job. we ordered the combo appetizer and the mozzarella sticks were cold and tasted like a store bought cheese stick covered in bread. the waitress checked on us once, asked if she could get us anything so we both asked for soda refills, and I politely let her know that the mozzarella sticks were not good and she offered to get more which I declined. we also both ordered 12 oz steaks (medium rare) and they both came out well done. my onion rings were also fried more than a meth-head's brain cells. his grilled vegetables were hard, cold, and bland. I wanted to tell her but she didn't come back for another 30 minutes (with no refills I might add) and had clearly been avoiding us. I told her about our meal and reminded her of the refills to which she responded that she would get the manager. he came out and was polite, offered to replace them or get us something else but at this point I was no longer hungry and ready to go home. I will say that from what I got to see of her, my waitress was fairly pleasant and the manager did end up taking care of our bill but I most DEFINITELY will not ever eat there again. spend the extra few $$ and go to longhorns somewhere.

Im one that usually loves applebees, but last night i got the car side to go. I got a chicken ceaser salad and boneless bbq wings. There was NO parmesan or any cheese in the salad and barely any chicken in it. The bbq chicken appetizer was disgusting, overcooked and fatty with the consistensy of rubber. Of course i didnt discover this until i got home. Very disappoinging.

Best applebees ever! They took great care of me late night and I can say they're all good people. Especially Chelsea! Thank you so much.
