Great date night spot! My wife and I came on a Thursday night for dinner. The ambiance is great, you've gotta get a spot on the patio. We got a delicious lemonade cocktail and beer flight to start. Our app was the chili shrimp, a must! Lastly our entres were the smash burger and the beef brisket, great choices. This is a great spot for friendly gatherings too. Such a good spot on the river! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu Parking: Parking garage around the corner.
The place is nice, service was friendly! Beer was meh and they only serve their own makes sense, but just an FYI. The food was good, but nothing blew our socks off, so didn’t feel it was worth the price tag.
We stopped by to get some food before a concert and were able to get seated right away even on a Friday night. Food was great and prices are good for the amount of food you get. Beer also awesome. I got the the Smash Burger and would recommend it to others. Overall a great experience, if your in the area definitely worth stopping by.
Staff was very friendly and service was fast. The beer was good. The highlight was the chicken milanesa sandwich my wife ordered. The spices and seasoning on it were very well balanced. I had the Alter burger which had a nice char broil flavor but was sadly over cooked.
We booked the outdoor dome on a Sunday. About 2 weeks in advance. There was plenty of seating inside when we arrived. Our server was excellent and went over both the menu and dome features. It was so much fun to eat surrounded by Christmas lights, and jam out to music of our choice. We were nice and toasty thanks to the space heater. The food was great I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich and fried pickles we had! We did a flight of beer and were pleased with such a wide selection.
I visit Alter Brewing with my family. Both the indoor and outdoor seating are really nice; I enjoy sitting outside and getting a view of the Fox River during the summer. The logo is quite neat. Also, Kelsey is amazing!
Great vibe, and the beer is fantastic. But the food doesn't match the price. Pictured burger ordered medium was about as far into well done as could be. At $18, would expect some level of wow or unique, but was just plain disappointing.
We were there for a rehearsal dinner on a Friday night. The service was friendly and attentive despite it being very busy. The food was good. They have a nice variety of their beer and a full bar. It's in a nice entertainment district where I would certainly return to. They did a nice job with the whole area
Food & beer was high quality & very tasty. Our group of 4 got Smash Burgers, Chicken Milanese, and Dijon Poached Chicken Salad. Sampled a flight of four beer selections. Total with 20% tip was $90. A cool Fall evening, so we were inside but this place is big! A visit on a warm Summer day or night would be just about perfect. Their outdoor patio is AMAZING!
