Story

Alpine Shop is your one stop shop for all your winter sports & outdoor casual wear needs. Whether you are skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, racing down the mountain or just looking stylish for some Aprés Ski, we offer the best selection and most knowledgeable staff to help you make the best choice.

Alpine Shop's philosophy is simple: Families, Fun and the Great Outdoors. Put those elements together in any combination and that's what we're all about.

Our families have been in the ski business for over 50 years (since 1963) and have had a front row seat watching the ski industry evolve. We understand and cater to the needs of skiers and snowboarders. The Alpine Shop is nestled in beautiful Northern Vermont right in the middle of New England Ski Country.

"Just Ask" is our motto and we truly mean it. Canada Goose, K2, Line, Volkl, Blizzard, Icelantic, Smith, Giro, Rossignol, Burton, Patagonia, Lilla P, The North Face & Prana are just a few of the many brands we offer. I had my skis tuned and buffed up for the season by Jake and he did an awesome job and it was a great deal! My skis never felt better for opening weekend and the turnaround time to get my skis back was only a couple of hours. I am super grateful for the high quality service and great staff! Highly recommend them!

The staff provided excellent service with our season rentals. The gentleman who helped us was knowledgeable and patient and took the time to make sure that we were satisfied with our equipment. Despite the fact that we came at a very busy time of the year, the staff agreed to go above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with our rental. We really appreciate their dedication to customer satisfaction. Can't wait to hit the slopes!

We came in 30 minutes before close, a little desperate to get skis quickly. The ski shop folks set us up. When we asked if they could be ready in a couple days they decided they could crank them out right then. It was brilliant. Andrew was especially helpful. P.S Their women’s clothes selection is amazing. Some of my coolest items have come from there. 💜

The Alpine Shop located on Williston Road is the greatest place to get your ski equipment this season. I had a ton of questions and the staff in the basement was able to answer all of my questions and outfitted all 7 of my children with good equipment. I would highly recommend going to the Alpine Shop basement during any free time you may have. The big guy tall bearded guy named Jake is super handsome and made my experience "wet & wild" in the basement of the Alpine Shop located on Williston Road.

The Alpine Shop is the best place in Vermont to get all of your winter essentials. The staff are all very friendly, respectful, and helpful to make sure that you get exactly what you want in the store. After being a part of the leasing program for my whole life growing up skiing, I can assure you that the ski techs downstairs will treat you right and take the time to find the equipment that is perfect for you. Not to mention they have the best tuning in the state!
