Great selection! Fresh produce. Drive-up grocery pick-up will take about a day from order to pick-up but currently only a $5 up charge. So, if you're a hermit or just don't have time to shop, you're assistant can order your groceries from the touch screen and pickup the next day. A traffic jam between 5 and 6pm at the checkout lines, so maybe not the best place right after work. It's new, so it's the best grocery from Colchester to Fairfax and the crowds show it.

I absolutely HATE going into this store, ever since the remodel. For 8 years we have done all of our grocery shopping here, and now the amount of anxiety we get just thinking about going to Hannafords is enough to drive us crazy. The staff that stocks shelves and packs the to-go orders are down right rude and inconsiderate! They act like you're a huge inconvenience to them when you politely ask to get an item that they're blocking (after ignoring you standing there for 2 minutes), even slamming the refrigerator doors shut because they're so pissy. HELLO- I'M THE CUSTOMER- WITHOUT ME YOU DONT HAVE A JOB! With the exception of 3 deli workers (Patti, Ryan and another newer lady) they're mostly lazy and full of attitude (especially Ben and Kevin)! You ask for something cut "very thin" and when they show you a slice that ISNT thin and ask for it thinner, they scoff, roll their eyes and sometimes say "I can't get it any thinner" when really they just don't want to put in the extra few seconds it takes to cut it correctly. Or they show you a thin slice and when you get home you see they only cut one slice that way and made the rest thicker because it's quicker. I literally wait until I see one of the 3 good workers there to get my meat or I just go elsewhere. There are never enough registers open, the customer service desk is usually closed with a sign saying go to check out 1 for help, where there's a long line of people with 14 items or less. The kids they have bagging groceries haven't had the slightest bit of training and put raw chicken in with produce or cleaning chemicals in with food, and put all the heavy stuff in one bag (if you're "lucky enough " to have a bagger available at all). This place has gone so far downhill that I only go there when desperate! They really aught to start reading these reviews and fix these problems before they're out of business!

Great store gone wrong.... Remodel has ruined store, many discontinued items. We don't want fresh-from-freezer-box hot food, we want quality grocery items and fresh produce! Surprised to see the had lamb back, until I noticed that all of them had spoiled. Produce and fruit section has also been reduced to make way for the 'kitchen'. Not a single item I have requested for restocking has been returned to the shelves, including many common items like adobo, Caesar salad dressing, and common spices and seasonings. If you like to buy hot grocery store pizza, this is the store for you. If you love food and love to cook, keep on driving and choose a new store. I hope I can come back in a year and find that I can change my review, but I don't have high hopes.

GREAT STORE GONE WRONG IS CORRECT. I have been a faithful shopper at this store since it first opened...I have really tried very hard to give them a shot since this new "facelift" however I'm done now. Every single time I have been in this store since the facelift & gone to the service desk I have had to wait for the cashier to check out any where from 3 to 7 customers & even then was brushed off with a very curt, unhelpful response to my question only to get back to checking out customers. WHY ON EARTH DO YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE DESK, THERE IS NEVER ANYONE THERE. Deb who has been there for years is the ONLY person that is still extremely helpful in every way possible. Where on earth are the people that should have trained these poor employees. The final straw is your "Rewards" program....... there has never been one single person that has asked me if I have the "Rewards" program when I check out. Some of the clerks go so fast they TOTAL my order before I get to ask if I may enter my phone number, they say "OH SORRY ITS TOO LATE, I CANT ENTER IT NOW." What gives ??? Where have all your previous "SPECTACULAR, POLITE, HELPFUL EMPLOYEES GONE. One of the assistant mgrs. actually walked away sarcastically when asked a question. I thought the customer was always right.

Enjoyed the new design/layout. Everyone very helpful and got myself signed up for the new on-line app. for 2% savings. All in all a pleasant experience.
