Story

Founded in 1994, Alpha Textbooks was the first full service online bookstore for the independent school community in Ontario.

Our mandate is to provide exceptional service and goods, while helping families, teachers and schools save money. Our mission is to continue to grow as a sustainable organization that participates in community care.

Great Customer Service. They were very knowledgeable and professional. Especially Rochelle. She was very helpful and one of the BEST!
These guys are amazing! They are so helpful! I was asking so many questions... most places would have gotten annoyed. He was patient and searched for everything i asked about. I would definitely recommend them
General experience has been good but this year had to chase them for a refund. Recommend more attention to emails from customers. However had a good conversation with them and hear their intent to offer a good customer experience. Changed my rating to reflect this effort on their part.
Customer service was really patient in helping me use the website. I got a lot of school books at a discounted price without any trouble. Will def be selling my books back in the summer
Subpar customer service order ignored for weeks, no attempt to compensate for mistake and high prices make us bitter since the school does not offer a workaround this store. A shame.
I really want to buy from them and support local business, but their markup is even higher than what publishers sell on their site. As such textbooks are priced quite high but this store seems to price it even higher. I'd suggest parents to compare prices outside before buying.
I came into Alpha Textbooks with book lists for my three children. The store staff was excellent in helping me get in and out quickly with everything I came for.
