The wide array of products we offer and the services we provide are because of them. Our loans are designed to meet their needs with low costs and flexible terms. Our mortgages are handled direct so they always know who they are talking to. Our Visa cards are plain, simple, and designed for investment in their future, and our share draft accounts provide them a safe, convenient alternative to writing checks or carrying cash- a MasterMoney debit card. Our branch locations are all centrally located within the communities we serve; all offering drive thru facilities, night depositories and convenient 24 hour ATMs because we want to provide the best possible service at the most convenient locations. Alpena Alcona has also always provided great rates compared to any other place. We will be a forever customer to Kelly and Alpena Alcona.
My primary financial institution for over 30 years so far. Not only are credit unions a great choice in general, AAACU is so accomodating that my service wasn't affected even with moving out of the area twice. I love how much they give back to the community and how many of their staff members are compassionate. They have awesome service on all levels!
I've been with them 37 years It's been my only credit Union and the best I've ever had. Much prefer them over any bank.
I’ve really enjoyed working with AAACU the past few years. Their online banking is very user friendly. Thestaff is always willing to help highly recommend them.
I have used this Credit Union as my main financial institution for the last 6 years and have never had a negative experience. The staff have always been super helpful and engaged. I recently had to refinance a loan from a national bank. AAACU did everything in a timely manner to take care of this for me. They also advised me they may be able to beat the interest rate of an auto loan I had. Upon checking, they brought down the interest rate a full percent making my payments more manageable. I now live out of state but because of the online banking features, I continue to have AAACU as my main financial institution, and will continue to do so. They are professional, courteous, and always willing to help their members.
I can't say enough good things about the CU. They go out of their way to help. I have been a member since the beginning early 1990's? and the CU has grown so much. Cheryl at the Lincoln branch has gone out if her way to help with so many loans & products for us in the last couple of years. She is the best!! Keep up the great work, AAACU!
Today the most frightening thing happened. I found out that I had fraudulent charges on my debit card. Naturally, I freaked out, called AAACU, and was transferred to card services. Rose was outstanding! Like I said, I was really riled up and she helped me clear things up and ordered a new card for me. She was calm, friendly, patient, understanding and kind. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Rose, you are appreciated!
Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union is truly a family oriented credit union in my eyes. This credit union has taken care of all of our family’s financial needs throughout the last 20+ years. Anything we’ve requested, such as opening up a new account, informing my children at little ages about dollar dog and saving, anything from mortgage, to car loans, to investing, to college loans, you name it. The staff at the Lincoln branch where we’ve done almost all our banking, treats us like family and has never let us down with any services we have needed or inquired about!!
I appreciate all of the precautions that AAACU has taken during the pandemic. They truly care about the health and well being of their members and employees. Thank you for offering a wide variety of options to meet members’ financial needs while doing your part to keep everyone safe.
Been a member of AAACU for a decade now and have always been treated with the upmost respect. I truly admire the high level of customer service from branch members and sense of urgency when i needed assistance.
