Nice hot pandesal bread, we had it with dairy cream. Taste like home. Service is good. Nice friendly staff. The kakanin or Filipino desserts are good. Price is reasonable. Parking is not a problem. Location is easy to find. Lots of store in the area too.
We go here for the milky donuts, sugar twist and the taho. I give the store 5 stars just for these 3 items. Spanish bread is yummy too. A few kakanin types we tasted were just okay. Pandesal and empanada were average. Yet to try a lot of their other items. Good service. Lots of parking. Reasonable prices.
It's rare to find an exclusive Filipino baked goods kakanin place in the GTA. Usually it is a combo'ed with hot food and other Filipino delights. Kudos to them for sticking to their specialty. They're not cheap but is in line with other Filipino food places in terms of pricing. The sapin-sapin and conchinta were pretty good. Haven't tried their braso de Mercedes but will do so next time.
What i love the most in this store is the pandesal. But recently the pandesal is not that good anymore. They raised the the price but the quality it didn’t atleast maintain the quality. But the other kakanins are good and fresh. Except the cashier ladies they’re not that friendly.
One of the best bakery and dessert in Toronto! You should try it
I bought PandeUbe but when I got home It was Spanish bread... I was so upset and I called they said to bring back the Spanish bread and they will replace it... I can’t just Come back right away... Terrible!!!! Also I noticed that they put small portion of their products .They just scattered it to make it look full but if you count it, it’s less with the same price...
The best selection of baked goods I've tasted currently all around toronto. I'd rate it 5 stars if they had better product stock. If you don't come earlier from its opening, you will not be able to aquire the most requested bakery goods- they will be sold out.
Placed an order a week in advance over the phone and I was told it was going to be ready to pick up. But when I got there, it was not and they said they would not be able to make my order for me even though I drove over an hour to come here.
This place by faaaaar has the best Spanish bread in the city! The ratio of bread and filling is on point. The bread is not too bready it’s perfectly airy with the delicious filling!
Their products are very tasty, and have nice selection. Big downside is that they are overpriced. A small buko tapioca drink is already $4, which is too much for the small amount. Air filled Spanish bread is $1.25, good but small. In the store, they do not have price tags on *all* of their products, probably not to disclose how pricey they are, it isn't professional. A nice place to treat yourself occasionally, but I wouldn't come here often.
