They have recently added a window to the waiting room. Now there is absolutely no privacy when having blood taken, as you can see person having blood drawn, hear their name, birthdate, what bloodwork is for as well. Why put a window where they did absolutely terrible.
A little overboard about COVID-19. I had my own mask, was asked to change to one of theirs. That was okay with me. The problem was that I had to take my mask and winter hat into my coat pocket because they may have been covid infected. What about my coat pants, and anything else I was wearing. I was there for blood work, so I had to take my coat off.
Doctor McDonald is great. Nurse practicioners are caring, efficient and listen thoroughly to any and all concerns. The front desk always have the "not in office" message on for like 3 hours out of the day. Makes it really difficult to make appointments to see anyone as a shift worker...
It is a great thing to have a medical facility in the area. No emerge service anymore, gotta go to Huntsville for that, but lab work and superb staff are always available. If you are lucky enough to have a family doctor in town, appreciate it.
Their technicians are efficient and excellent. Their front desk/reception is similar to something out of a 1980s sitcom. Slow, apathetic and not funny at all.
I get physiotherapy services locally which is great after surgery.
Physio department is the best and close to home.
