Almadina restaurant

Visiting downtown Rochester for few days and I found this place online. I am glad that I did. Amazing food & friendly staff. Specially if you are looking for Halal option this is the perfect location. I tried many places in the area & this has become my favorite spot. It’s not far from Mayo Clinic also. I would recommend this place to anyone. You will not regret it.

Very friendly owners and staff. Last year I had stopped in for dinner with one of my business partners and had the lamb and beef shwarma plate with rice. It was great, along with the humus with pita bread. Today I treated myself to the lamb and beef sandwich. I found it to be an excellent choice also, and more filling than expected which I first saw it. Thank you for the fantastic food. I'm glad you survived the year!

Visited this restaurant after just looking up different places to eat in Rochester - my husband was immediately intrigued by the Almadina Feast Platters. Staff is so friendly and hospitable. My husband who has never had hummus loved the hummus that was brought out along with *WARM* pita bread game changer. But, the Almadina platter was really such a memorable meal - the lamb chops were *chefs kiss*. I've never liked lamb but these lamb chops changed my mind with how perfectly grilled they were. We left having spent $30 for the platter, hummus/pita, salad, & baklava, and even brought back leftovers - will definitely come back again.

I ordered a falafel wrap and fries. It was flavorful and filling. The wrap was delicious and filling and the fries were fried to a crisp perfection. Restaurant is clean and spacious.

Almadina is a downtown gem and one of the top restaurants in Rochester. The food is consistently cooked properly and is always absolutely delicious. The owners, Samar and Feras, put a lot of passion into the food they cook and the menu items they present--and the results show. I've never had a bad meal from Almadina and recommend it to all of my friends. The menu is also vegan and gluten-free friendly, so there is something for everyone! Personally, I love the lamb chops, chicken shawarma, tabouli, hummus, and falafel. My kids go crazy for the toum garlic sauce.

Absolutely wonderful food and great service. Very nice people. Got seconds. Was really cheap with large portions.

Place for Arabian food. Love Chicken Sharma Sandwich. Enjoyed Arabian tea as well. Friendly staffs and thanks for quick service.

This is the best food in town! We usually get the Al Madina special which comes with everything. Am not a humus or salad guy but I eat theirs coz the flavors are amazing. I will definitely keep returning as the quality is above the rest. Vegetarian options: The Arabic salad is brilliant coming from someone who doesn't like veggies.

Excellent food! Two of us ordered the small feast and we both ate until we were full and had two meals worth to take home as well. The selections in the meal were plentiful and each was wonderful. Definitely will be back and definitely recommend giving them a try!
