I have been visiting this location for quite some years. Even though it's a little far from Markham, I go there because of the friendly staff and simplicity of location: nothing too fancy yet pleasant atmosphere. I also take advantage of the email promotions. Usually they have their standard 25% off. This time they have the great 40% discount. Making the appointment was super easy online and so I decided to pay a visit today. Not going to name names as the attendant has been well reviewed here and I am trying to destroy her reputations either. She was my go to attendant for my manzillian service. It has been for the past 2/3 years. She was quick and friendly. However, she has been a little pushy lately with the gratuity. This time she just simply demanded "a raise" because I have been tipping her the same amount for the past few years. Her reasoning was because of inflation. I didn't argue with her and simply gave her the tip she has demanded. However, I will not be going back to her for service again. She even missed a spot today as she was busy reasoning with me on the "raise" on tips. It was a truly disappointing experience today that I even wonder if I should start finding alternate locations closer to where I live.Service: Men's waxing
After seeing other reviews it has confirmed what I think. I haven’t gone here personally but my friend has a few times, she wants her identity to be hidden which is why I’m writing this and there is one worker who brings the whole atmosphere down at this lovely salon. She has been heard badmouthing her fellow coworkers, and she is very pushy when it comes to sales. I heard she has worked there for a long time, it’s a shame to allow someone like that to still be here when she is bringing the company down due to her own selfishness. But it’s all politics, if you’ve been there a while they can’t just fire you, even if you’re the worst worker there and probably the reason clients wouldn’t come back. I hope they read these reviews too so they really rethink their choices

I have been seeing Foujan every few weeks for over a year now and I always have a great experience! I feel welcomed and comfortable - not only with Foujan, but with all the staff. Foujan has an amazing personality and her service is always done very quick and well. I continue to look forward to my appointments with her, not only for the amazing results of my Quickzillian's, but for the chance to interact with such a great waxing specialist!Service: Brazilian waxing

I have had two waxing sessions with Siman at Allure! She always makes me feel very comfortable and makes the whole experience very welcoming. Siman is very knowledgeable for any questions about waxing and makes the process as quick and painless as possible. I’ve been coming to Allure for two years, and I’ve always had a great experience with Foujan. She makes you feel at ease the moment you walk in the room and is very good at her job. I would recommend Foujan to anyone who wants to book at Allure.
Very uncomfortable “quickzillian” experience. The staff was unprofessional and unorganized. They did not have any towels to cover up with, so the esthetician just opens the door to you naked after you’re told to get ready for the wax. I used my shorts to cover myself while waiting, then as soon as she walks in she tells me I have many ingrown hairs and that I need to buy this product that they’re selling. I’ve had ingrown hairs before and I’m sure its a fine product, but I don’t currently have any and she hadn’t even seen my hair as I was using my shorts to cover up. When finished I was absolutely covered in baby powder with no way to clean up obviously, and was told that’s a normal part of waxing. I have been to other places for Brazilian waxes before and the difference in cleanliness, consideration, and professionalism is unbelievable. When I went to pay for the service the worker at the front tells me my total for my wax service and “product”. I had never once said I wanted this product or agreed for it to be on my receipt. Then when I got home later I found long stray hairs, and very sticky and hard to remove excess wax all over my Brazilian areas. I would strongly advise avoiding Allure Body Bar if you’re seeking professional and sanitary service.

I started to do laser again and I chose to try allure. I’m so happy I made this decision and even happier I met Siman! I have been doing laser on and off for years at several different places and clearly the results weren’t there which is why I needed more sessions. Siman from the first time I met her has been AMAZING she is so professional, makes you feel so comfortable and like a best friend doing your laser the level of comfort she provides at each service. She is thorough, patient, and gets the best results in her work. The room is very clean, provides towels and whatever you need to make your experience 10/10. Siman asks along the whole way how you are doing and if she can do anything for you which is why she is simply the best laser technician I have ever been to. The results from just ONE session shows how allure is superior to all other places I have been. I have noticed SUCH a difference and can’t wait to keep getting better!
