Allstate Insurance: Courtice-Oshawa Agency

A very disappointing experience. Allstate has some very troubling practices that can only be described as gouging. They charge a deposit for the so called privilege of having the premium paid monthly. They however conveniently forget to explain that the said deposit is non refundable should you decide to cancel within the first few months of the policy. And if you do, there is an additional premium owed given the short rate basis for the termination. My problem is with the practice of collecting money in advance from customers, investing it and earning an interest that is not distributed back to the customer base. That is not an ethical way of conducting business. Insurance companies and banks never lose money!! There is a reason for that....I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants to be treated fairly and with integrity.

I recently had the pleasure speaking with Michelle for some policy changes and she was extremely helpful with explaining everything as well as very efficient. We were able to get going and have everything setup very quickly.

I have had nothing but good experiences with All State. I had a not a fault accident where my car was damaged pretty bad. I had tbe car repaired and the service at every step of the process was great. Good team working there. Highly recommended them for your insurance needs.

I have had the misfortune to be in 2 accidents that were not my fault. The service they provided me were top notch. I had the disappearing deductible and didn't have to pay a cent. I have recommended the company to several friends and they've all been happy with their savings.
